The well-known Arietta in C given here is not part of many editions of "An Introduction of the Art of Playing the Piano" as for instance given in imslp. Here Lesson 5 is the Dead March from Händel's Saul. In some other editions (from 11 onwards) the Arietta as given here is Lesson 5 instead of the March. This piece is also called "Allegretto grazioso" in the piano literature. Partition centrale : | An Introduction to The Art of playing The Pianoforte (6 partitions) | |
