He came from a widely ramified musical dynasty, which produced numerous musicians and organists in the Thuringian-Saxon area The Air & Variations in C Minor (BWV 991) appears as work No. 7 from the 1722 Notebook for Anna Magdalena Bach and is incomplete with the bass of the Air is incomplete; followed by a complete and an incomplete variation, where the system for the left hand is empty. For the sake of this arrangement, I have completed the work and notated my additions in the score in red.
