Pietro Lappi (c.1575 - c.1630) was an Italian composer in the Renaissance period. Pietro Lappi was a chapel master in Santa Maria delle Grazie in Brescia from 1593 . He composed mostly sacred music . The only exception is op. 9, with 22 Songs to Play at 4-13 instruments, book 1, printed in Venice in 1616 , example of instrumental music in the style of the Brescia School. Another of his books printed in 1613 includes both works in the late Renaissance and early Baroque ( modern style ) s...(+) Pietro Lappi (c.1575 - c.1630) was an Italian composer in the Renaissance period. In 1621 Pietro Lappi dedicated Psalm 112, Laudate pueri - to 16 voices from "Psalms with three and four chori concertati" for four choirs with four voices, cornets , trombones , violins , violas and viola .
