Giacomo Sellitto (1701 - 1763) Italie Giacomo Sellitto ( Naples , 28 July 1701 – Naples , 20 November 1763 ) was an Italian composer and singing teacher .
He was younger brother of the composer Giuseppe Sellitto . Very little is known about his biography: he certainly served as maestro di cappella at the Collegio dei Nobili in Naples.
As regards his compositional activity, he wrote 72 fugues for harpsichord , a Stabat Mater for 4 voices, violin, viola and continuous bass, the opera La Gineviefa , performed in 1745 and the musical tragedy Santa Perpetua martire .
