that for all of you who may sometimes have feelings of

been a cathartic experience, and I know I am very
fortunate, blessed even, to be able to express my
feelings, happy and sad, with music.

music may bring, however fanciful it is I think of
music-making as the very plaster I often need to
protect myself from pain. It's a medicine that contains
a blissful irony. It seems that music can
simultaneously express and re-frame one's experiences.
Perhaps indeed, in pain, or through pain, there can be
joy.
