I would suggest that in future compositions you try not to double the solo instrument in the rest of the orchestra. Using the same chords is very effective (using different ones can be painful ;-P), but not the exact same notes. Also e aware of the performer's instrument's abilities. I have had experience with ignoring that, the most obvious occurrence being my impossible notation of timpani parts, which i have subsequently transposed two Timpanists. For wind instruments, try to keep the melodic phrases shorter, as someone playing this as notated might very well pass out ;-)
P.S. Also try to expand your instrumental diversity, as most of your music is using the same few instruments. Not necessarily a bad thing, but it can get boring if you aren't careful. Keep up the good work! NoviceInDisguise
