Ajoutée par felixrodriguezguitar, 01 Jui 2015 This is one of the most interesting compositions for guitar (vihuela) to come out of the renaissance. First, it states in the subtitle that it imitates the Harp in the manner of Ludovico. Secondly, it has a section (after the Andalusian cadence) where the composer writes that from this point on there are some "wrong" notes (dissonant) but if played well they won't seem bad. Now what is most interesting is that Ludovico was a famous harpist who was blind, so is that the reason for the "wrong" notes? In my arrangement I have lowered some E's down one octave because they sound well in the modern guitar. Also I make extensive use of "Campanella" on the fingering of the scale passages. This makes it a bit harder but it does sound like a Harp. Partition centrale : | Fantasia X (4 partitions) | |
