This is my solo Concert (Pedal) Harp interpretation of
this beautiful, symbolic and haunting melody by Robert
Dukerich (http://musescore.com/user/22612/scores/38469)
that laments the last song of a once vibrant Carousel.
For me it brings to light a verse from a poem by Tanya Chua, "...Oh this love. Took a thousand rides. On a big spinning carousel. We took our final ride on the carousel...". Ironically, carousels have left generations of people with fond childhood memories. B...(+) | |||
