benefit concert by and for the Jacksonville Symphony
players. It premiered in December 2007 in Jacksonville,
Florida, followed shortly in a performance by the
Coastal Symphony of Georgia in Brunswick. It is an
adaptation by Edward Lein of his setting of an 1872
poem by Christina Rossetti (1830-1894) that depicts the
