This brilliant impressionistic arrangement by Claus Ogerman was written for Antonio Carlos Jobim and recorded by the pianist on his 1973 Matita Perê album. This concert piece would provide wonderful contrast during a program. The arrangement calls for 6 woodwinds, most of whom double on piccolo, alto flute, oboe, or bass clarinet. This has been edited, engraved, and published directly from Mr. Ogerman's original score, with his consent.
