Format : Sheet music Tractatus (1986) for flute solo and chamber ensemble commissioned by the flutist Robert Aitkin and The New Music Concerts in Toronto. The soloist engages in a lively and dynamic exchange with the ensemble: a vibrant and energetic dialogue which is a play of light and darkness colour and contrasts. The work concludes with a reprise of the middle section.
