Benjamin Britten: Agnus Dei: Tenor & SATB: Vocal Score

This item is not available anymore with the seller Musicroom

Agnus Dei-For the text Britten interspersed the Latin Mass For The Dead with nine poems written by Wilfred Owen a World War I foot soldier who was killed a week before the Armistice. This only makes the meaning more poignant for this decidedly anti-war piece. Agnus Dei is written for Tenor Solo SATB with an Organ Accompaniment.
