Based upon What Child Is This and O Come, O Come Emmanuel this creative arrangement will make a wonderful addition to your holiday concerts. With very few exceptions the horn parts amazingly never play anything more complicated than quarter notes and the ranges are very reasonable, yet the sound is huge and impressive. For musical contrast there are short written solos for piano, alto, trumpet, and a brief duet for both altos (cued in the tenors) accompanied by driving steamroller rock feel. Totally Hip! |
