A setting of a sixteenth-century French Noel for unison choir. Written for Two-Part Treble Voices, Oboe or C Instrument (or Clarinet in B-flat), and Harp or Piano, with opt. Handbells. All voices sing Noel on the first and second stanzas. On stanza three, advanced singers or soloist sing a new melody that invites back the full ensemble with renewed energy into the original Noel. An easy optional handbell part, which is played from the score.
Reproducible pages for Oboe and Clarinet included.
Part of the Innocent Sounds Series, Level 2.
