A beautiful jazz chorale sets the stage for this straight-ahead chart. As you might guess from the title, the main part of this tune and the solo section are based on the two minor chords that Coltrane used in his classic modal composition Impressions. The 32-bar AABA structure of the original has been compressed to 16 bars to make it easier for younger players.
