The inspiration for this piece came from an e-mail received by the composer from a friend who was travelling around Brazil. The music depicts the countries great contrasts from the extreme poverty of the street children to the lavish lifestyle of the top footballers and the carnival revellers in Rio de Janeiro. Bring an exotic feel to any concert with the lively Latin American rhythms of E-mail from Brazil.
