from the Paramount Picture HATARI! Film composer Henry Mancini wrote Baby Elephant Walk for the 1961 film Hatari!. In this unmistakable classic film score, the composer was able to conjure a very realistic portrayal of a baby elephant s waddle. This jazz evergreen has now been arranged for variable wind ensemble by Eric J. Hovi.
