Als Liebhaber und Bewunderer der chinesischen Philosophie und Musik und als Jazzpianist, Komponist und Pedagoge freue ich mich aufrichtig daruber, dass Publig den 'Wa Folk Song' seinen Jazzvariationen zugrunde legt. (...) Publigs Suite wurde mit Inspiration, improvisatorisch und liebevoll zu Papier gebracht. Gleichzeitig lernt man die Grossmeister im Anhang kennen und erhalt Anregungen dafur, tiefer in die Materie einzudringen. Selbst wenn man die gesamte Suite oder einzelne Stucke davon auswendig lernt, hat man ihren Zweck erfallt: zur Erbauung und Freude an der Musik.
