This current release list features the first two pieces in our "Duane Funderburk Sacred Chamber Music Series." (The second piece is 20-626.) A joyful interplay between violin, cello, and piano, this setting of THE ASH GROVE is a tour de force in terms of the emotions and instrumental techniques it incorporates. Mercurial and surprising, it is for very established players on all three instruments, but it will delight the listeners and reward the musicians, whether in concert or worship. For all 3 piano trios 25-625, 626, 627. This info goes on each web page. These piano trios are dedicated to the many musicians I have the honor of working with every week at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena, California. They motivate me to write music that challenges both the musician and those listening, to worship our God in different ways using chamber music that captures the skill and creativity of the instrumentalists. These musical colleagues have been an inspiration to me personally for many years, and it is to all of them that I dedicate these pieces.
