The Quest for Victory sets to music the adventures of a superhero who is locked in an eternal struggle against the forces of evil. The piece begins with the statement of the superhero’s theme. We then hear such emotions as jealousy, resentment and hatred, and witness a fierce battle but again and again—and with a happy ending—the majestic hero’s theme sounds. As colourful and exciting as a comic book movie!

The Quest for Victory vertont die Erlebnisse eines Superhelden, der im ewigen Kampf gegen das Böse von einem Sieg zum nächsten strebt. Das Werk beginnt mit der Vorstellung seines Themas. Es wurden Gefühle wie Neid, Groll und Hass seitens des Bösewichts vertont, ein heftiger Kampf ist zu hören, aber immer wieder - und natürlich zum guten Schluss - erklingt das majestätische Heldenthema unseres Superhelden. So bunt und spannend wie ein Comicfilm!
The Quest for Victory (La quête de la victoire) met en musique les aventures d‘un super-héros qui se bat avec frénésie contre le mal. L’oeuvre commence par l’exposition du thème, où s’enchevètre différents motifs liés au sentiments tels que l’envie, le ressentiment, la haine du méchant… une bataille féroce se fait entendre. Mais le bien triomphe du mal, notre super-héros sort vainqueur alors que retentissent les sons majestueux de la victoire. Une oeuvre colorée et passionnante comme toute bande dessinée !
The Quest for Victory traduce in musica le gesta di un supereroe nella sua lotta perenne contro il male. Il brano inizia con la presentazione del tema: sentimenti come l’odio e l’invidia vengono esposti attraverso una feroce battaglia. Il maestoso tema che descrive il supereroe è proposto a più riprese e fino al finale.
