Iconic Estonian composer Veljo Tormis celebrates the tradition of “runosongs ” music that has been passed down through generations. These dynamic works use a minimalistic compositional style reminiscent of Estonian folksongs that are simple in construction unbelievably dynamic and often humorous in sound.
