Added by bernard-dewagtere, 22 May 2010 Inspired by the swans which she saw in city parks and by the poem of Tennyson The Dying Swan, Anna Pavlova works with the choreographer Michel Fokine to create in 1905 the famous maintaining solo ballet associated with the piece of Saint-Saëns. According to the tradition, the swan in the dance of Pavlova is seriously injured and is dying. However, Maïa Plissetskaïa reinterprets this dance by playing an old swan resisting stubbornly to the effects of the age (she interpreted the swan in the official reception of her 70 years). ![]() | The LAYOUT of your Sign-In is messy and hard to follow, shrunken by overpowering advertising banners. I had to SEARCH for the Creat Account spot. I was looking for a KEYBOASRD version of The Swan (Saint-Saëns) so I'M «making do» with the Cello Version but the typesize is so small it's already hard to read, and there's no room for amnnotating to make it comfortably playable as an ORGAN piece. |
