Added by magataganm, 25 Dec 2011 "Silent Night, Holy Night" (German: "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht") is a popular Christmas carol. The original lyrics of the song "Stille Nacht" were written in Oberndorf bei Salzburg, Austria, by the priest Father Joseph Mohr and the melody was composed by the Austrian headmaster Franz Xaver Gruber. In 1859. I created this version to accentuate the haunting pastorale elegance of the handchimes used by the Sierra Vista United Methodist Church (SVUMC) with the radiance of the full choir. Sheet central : | Douce nuit, Sainte nuit (Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht) (342 sheet music) | |
