A darker mood and color typifies this concerto. The deep and murky, percussive tonality lends suspense and tautness. Another masterpiece, its movement is smooth, though its harmonics endow a certain overall dissonance with a magical, fascinating quality. An enfant terrible, many should be exposed to; it is fitting for film or video, etc. Bis! |
