"La grande Petitesse et ses filles" consists of 8 miniatures in F sharp minor (the "daughter" pieces, called "Petitesses"), that could also be played separately. Parts of "La grande Petitesse" are very challenging, so I would expect that even an advanced pianist may need some time to practice it. As with all my scores, there are no markings. So you have all pianistical freedom to create your own, individual interpretation.

So far only one pianist has dared to perform this piece: Carlos Márquez from USA. Enjoy his majestic performance!

Recordings from other pianists are very welcome - you find all my 300+ classical piano compositions also for free download on my homepage:

This piece is beautiful, and would I not already be overwhelmed by preparing Mozart's 20th concerto as well as an integral of Brahms's Hungarian Dances, I would definitely take the challenge!

Congrats!

You should study some of the more difficult music in Piano literature, like Liszt, Rachmaninov, etc. You have some potential that way . . . This piece just lacks the musicality that your music normally has, and I think studying other music of this type could teach you how to make musical AND difficult music. All in all, not bad!

thank you for this interesting comment! Yes, this piece is not as melodic as my other works... I will continue to try to get into the large footsteps of Liszt and Rachmaninov, maybe with my next "Petitesse" :-)
