As always, the playing is lovely, sensitive, polished, delicate...... but the sheet music.......alas. It is almost insultingly poorly scored.

I can perhaps accept that some improvisation might be expected in a modern style composition, and so not all the notes get written out, but after a certain point this music departs entirely from what is written and just goes on into entirely unscored territory.

If ever these musical effusions were to be properly scored it would be wonderful, but this does not seem likely to happen.
