Added by magataganm, 06 Jul 2020 Andrea Falconieri (1585/6 – 1656), also known as Falconiero, was an Italian composer and lutenist from Naples. He resided in Parma from 1604 until 1614, and later moved to Rome, and then back to his native Naples, where in 1647 he became maestro di cappella at the royal chapel. . Source: Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrea_Falconieri). Although originally composed for 2 Violins/Viols, Cello/Viola da gamba/Continuo, I created this Interpretation of the Passacalle II from "Il Primo Libro di Canzone" (No. 13) for Pipe Organ (2 Manuals w/Pedals). |
