| Added by anjosteixeira-music, 23 Apr 2017 A chamarrita é uma dança originária de Portugal continental, que com o decorrer dos tempos se desenvolveu nas Ilhas dos Açores desta forma. Embora ainda não se utilize a arpa gótica na região, esta pequena peça para a arpa de colo, é uma versão instrumental bastante fiel á tradição tonal, melódica e rítmica em uso nomeadamente na ilha do Pico. The Chamarrita is a dance that was originated in mainland Portugal, which over the course of time has developed on the Azores Islands in this way. Although the Gothic harp is not yet played in the region, this small piece for the lap harp is quite faithful to the tonal, melodic and rhythmic tradition in use on the island of Pico.
