Added by matthew-bennett, 13 Mar 2018 The Old Hundredth is one of the most well known hymn
tunes in Western Christian traditions. This arrangement
by William Parsons is the first English arrangement of
the tune set to the words by William Kethe. Verse 5
came later and was written by Thomas Ken. It should be
noted that, as in most renaissance pieces, the tune is
in the tenor line. |
