Added by cdavis64davis, 20 Sep 2021 Raccoons: Thoroughly loathsome creatures. Every night, late, a gang of four marauds my yard, trying to make a sushi dinner out of my garden pond's inhabitants, and for dessert, tearing up the grass to look for bugs or some other buried treasure. And after this carnage, they saunter off without a care, no doubt invading the neighbors' domains. |
![]() | Sounds like an ongoing suite (sweet) of animal-based miniatures is in the offing. Having a unified theme is a great way to advance your ideas (a la your Sicilian pieces). This little Raccoon Rag has a nice bounce to it that is engaging and fun to listen to/play. cdavis64davis ![]() ![]() ↪ Actually it was more of a Musical Rant. Likewise, there are two neighborhood skunks who also excavate my back yard. So a possible Second Rant. At least the skunks don't go after my goldfish. There are no other animals I am particularly annoyed with, so that would likely complete the Rant series. |
