Jerome Kern, a tin pan alley composer and in my opinion
without peer. String players: This is an easy piece. And it doesn't sound easy, so everyone will be impressed. It is all in first position, not fast, no double stops, not even any eighth notes. It uses three user-friendly keys E, D, and C. If you can play a scale in those keys and count to four, you can play this piece. | |||
