Added by magataganm, 07 Feb 2024 Domenico Caudioso (18th Century, Italian) was a very obscure 18th-Century Italian composer, whose dates and even birthplace (conjectures include Naples and Novara) have been lost, and known through only one Mandolin concerto with two manuscript copies kept at the Library of the University of Upsala and Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Source: Wikipedia (https://imslp.org/wiki/Category:Caudioso,_Domenico). Although originally composed for Mandolin, 2 Violins, & Basso Continuo, I created this Interpretation of the "Concerto di mandolino a solo con Violini e Basso" in G Major (Gima 58) for String Quartet (2 Violins, Viola & Cello). |
