Added by anan, 29 Apr 2019 Someone asked me why, until now, I always put the author's name down in small print characters under the title, as if I wanted to hide it, while in the sheet music of once the opposite happened. Indeed, there is no precise reason. Now it is customary to do so, but I believe that this depends on the fact of living in a fiercely anti-humanistic and perhaps anti-human era, which does everything to deny or at least minimize the creative role of the individual. I don't think we can quickly reverse this trend, but on the other hand we are not even obliged to share it in full. Therefore, entering the fifth hundred of my contributions to Free-Scores, I thought of going back at least once to a past that, in this very small example as in many other much more significant ones, it would have perhaps been better to leave how it was. |
