Il concerto per Oboe ed archi da cui è tratto il presente Largo fa parte dell’opera XI n. 6 ed è la trascrizione, compiuta dallo stesso Vivaldi, del «Concerto» per violino op. IX n. 3 («La Cetra»). Il movimento mediano è rappresentato da questo “Largo” che apre con una specie di Ostinato scandito dal basso, scansione sulla quale si dispone, dopo poche battute, l'espressiva cantabilità della parte solistica. A piece of absorbed spirituality, excellent for the liturgical service, when a reflective pause is needed. The concert for oboe and strings from which the present Largo is taken is part of the work XI n. 6 and is the transcription, carried out by Vivaldi himself, of the «Concerto» for violin op. IX n. 3 (“The Cetra”). The middle movement is represented by this “Largo” which opens with a sort of Ostinato punctuated by the bass, a scansion on which, after a few bars, the expressive singing of the solo part is arranged. | |||
