He began his musical studies at the age of 15 in his hometown where he was active in musical circles and which helped the Jalisco Philharmonic Society (1869) was established. During his training in Guadalajara guitarrística he offered recitals at the Teatro Degollado. The Liberal Union newspaper and La Prensa de Guadalajara published articles his, where towards musical reviews. In addition to writing for the guitar, he composed at least four operas (Adorante, King of Nubia, Queen of the Fairies and Louise de la Valliere). Approximately 1870.
