Next, 'Moonlight Mambo' features trombone one in a romantic ballad supported by the swaying rhythms of the accompanying parts. Finally in 'Calypso Cocktail' each part in turn gets to step forward into the limelight in a spirited finale.Parts 1 and 4 are a little more demanding than 2 and 3, but the whole suite is very accessible for easy intermediate level players.

The Sarabande from George Frideric Handel's Keyboard Suite in D minor HWV 437 is one of the most famous pieces of classical music, and this arrangement for trombone quartet preserves the character of the original piece. The theme and two variations can be repeated or omitted as required. This download includes a full score in and parts for three tenor trombones and one bass trombone, in concert pitch bass and tenor clefs. The first trombone part is exclusively in tenor clef and the third trombone part has a few tenor clef bars.There are also three extra parts for the tenor trombones in Treble Clef Bb, in case that would be preferable for any of the players.

The third movement of the Piano Sonata No. 12 in A-flat Major, Op.26, Beethoven’s “Funeral March No. 2†is played at state funerals in the UK, including the funerals of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The subtitle of this movement (“Marcia Funebre, sulla morte d'un Eroeâ€) translates to “Funeral March, relating to the death of a heroâ€, and was orchestrated by Beethoven for the incidental music to Johann Duncker's play “Leonore Prohaska†(WoO 96). This was one of the pieces played during the procession at Beethoven’s funeral in 1827. This arrangement includes alternative parts for treble-clef trombones.
