Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1043823 Composed by Kevin G. Pace (ASCAP), Mary Ann W. Snowball. Praise & Worship,Sacred,Spiritual. Octavo. 3 pages. Kevin G. Pace #648505. Published by Kevin G. Pace (A0.1043823). A beautiful, sacred hymn with music by Kevin G. Pace and text by Mary Ann W. Snowball. Text: Walk with me. When my trek through life seems barren, walk with me. When my soul is parched and arid, walk with me. When my drought has brought on thirst, when my God is not placed first, when I sense the very worst, Oh, walk with me. Weep with me. When all happiness escapes me, weep with me. When my peaceful heart forsakes me, weep with me. When I’m broken past repair, when no one is there to care, when a friend is very rare, Oh, weep with me. Mourn with me. When my heart is full of sorrow, mourn with me. When it’s hard to face tomorrow, mourn with me. When I’m crying all alone, when I feel less love is shown, when I doubt if I am known, Oh, mourn with me. Comfort me. Now I feel God coming closer. He comforts me When I feel I love Him most, He comforts me. When I trust his holy word, when I follow truths I’ve heard, when I feel so God-assured, He comforts me.

Solo Guitar - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1489839 Composed by Antonio Carlos Jobim, Carlos Eduardo Lyra Barbosa, Gene Lees, and Vinicius De Moraes. Arranged by Rod Whittle. 20th Century,Jazz,Latin. Individual part. 3 pages. Maggie Creek Music #1066711. Published by Maggie Creek Music (A0.1489839). This arrangement is faithful to the feel and progression of the guitar arrangement in 'The Brazilian Masters' (TRO Hollis Music Inc. 1958) except that it returns to the main theme (stated right at the start) before ending with its beautiful coda. To me it seems almost inevitable that the theme be restated at the end. The marvelous Jobin chords and passing modulations are all there and the reaarranged structure give the piece a feeling of completion.

Concert Band - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1110858 By Brady Kuhl. By Brady Kuhl. Arranged by Brady Kuhl. Classical,Comedy,Contest,Festival. Score and Parts. 66 pages. Brady Kuhl #713153. Published by Brady Kuhl (A0.1110858). The song simmering into fall is a song that supposed to portray fall as a season, but it just turned into a beautiful pile of trash, as the Intro is the introduction, movement A is supposed to portray the cooling down in the tempeture and changing the color of trees, movement B is supposed to represent false fall but after a while, the music seems to fall out of control. I don't know if this song trash or Tresure, please find out and enjoy, and tell me how yawl think. If yawl can manage to play thst song in real life and make it sound good, it would make yawl the best musicians.

Voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8492-28E Composed by MeeAe Ceci…

Voice and piano - Medium - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8492-28E Composed by MeeAe Cecilia Nam and Theodore Gouvy. Instrument part. 6 pages. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8492-28E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8492-28E). French.Gouvy was known for writing some of the most beautiful melodies of the Romantic period. His style is a combination of German forms and an early French romantic harmonic structure. His writing for the piano in the songs is totally unified in mood and description with the voice, just as the piano is in Schubert’s songs. The equal partnership of the vocal line and piano interact closely to bring the poetry vividly into life with unimaginable artistic heights and unbridled passion. This volume includes Gouvy songs set to 18 poems of Philippe Desportes (1546–1606), and 18 poems of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872). The elements of Romantic love poetry, such as enchanting love and its pain, and the personifying of nature, are fluently described with a great sensitivity in both voice and piano. Gouvy’s melody stir up the imagination because of his special treatment of words through a distinguishable and melodious vocal line, and his story telling and poetic treatment and development of the piano accompaniment. His compositional artistry places him in the upper echelons of art-song composers. One should note that Gouvy had a special fondness for the 16th Century poetry of La Pléiade (a group of Renaissance French poets, led by Pièrre de Ronsard (1524–1585). Desportes was truly the heir to Ronsard; however his work, when compared to that of Ronsard, is filled with greater abstraction and greater fluidity. Desportes seems to avoid any of the passionate anger that is occasionally characteristic of La Pléiade. This may be an indication that Desportes lived in a less distressed time. It also seems necessary to point out that he learned much in his early career by copying and studying the earlier works of La Pléiade. This has led some scholars to label him as a plagiarist, but it is important to realize that all the members of La Pléiade copied from each other when they wished to learn something new, and truly understand the style of the other poets in the group. Gouvy’s only choice of poems from his contemporaries, were the works of Moritz Hartmann (1821–1872), a good friend of Gouvy’s. Much of his poetry was strongly political in support of freedom of the individual. He traveled to Leipzig in 1845, but when the authorities discovered a volume of patriotic poems entitled Kelch und Schwert (Chalice and Sword), he fled to Belgium and France. It is at this time that he possibly met Théodore Gouvy. Eighteen poems of Hartmann were translated from German to French by the French poet, Adolph Larmande, of whom very little is known. Pierre Toussaint Adolphe Larmande seems to have been a rather obscure poet and musician. We know that he taught music theory at the Paris Conservatory at the same time Anton Reicha and Michele Carafa were on the faculty. We also know that in 1847 he married an English woman by the name of Marie Caroline Bradley. There are random documents, such as a Certificate of Arrival in London, England, in 1837, but there are no birth and death dates given, and that includes his obituary notice.

Piano Solo - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1041003 By Isadar. By Isadar. Classical,Contemporary,Jazz,New Age. Score. 9 pages. Mainya Music Publishing (BMI) #645734. Published by Mainya Music Publishing (BMI) (A0.1041003). Contains:End Of The Line - taken from the Isadar solo piano collection, The Journey (available soon on SheetMusicDirect and SheetMusicPlus) Sounds like: Liz Story, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording Album & Songbook review by:Kathy Parsons (MainlyPiano.com): Isadar’s fourth solo piano album is a blend of smooth jazz and new age, showing both his impressive technique and sensitivity to melody. Several of the eight selections are free-form and improvisational, revealing some of Liz Story’s influence on his music. Some of Isadar’s earlier recordings have very dark, moody sections, but this one stays fairly upbeat and optimistic without being ear candy. The music is complex enough to sink your teeth into, and yet is accessible enough to enjoy as a backdrop to a quiet dinner or an evening with a good book. Joyful Running begins the journey with an exuberant and uplifting piece that reminds me a little of some of Spencer Brewer’s bouncier compositions. Fountain of Life is a beautiful piece with a water-like flow that never stops in its 10 1/2 minutes. I listened to this CD several times without realizing that this song was that long. It flows and meanders so effortlessly that it seemed no longer than the other seven selections, most of which are between four and five minutes in length. Unstructured and free, this is one of my favorite tracks. I also really like the title track, which is even more abstract and unstructured. The tone is of searching and moving forward. End of the Line is my favorite on this album. Very introspective and contemplative, this seems to be a very personal piece. It is the most somber track, but one still senses hope despite the ending of something dear and important. Or maybe it’s simply the end of the journey and the dread of returning to real life - I feel this way on the last day of my vacations! It is a wonderful and moving closing to an excellent album. The companion songbook is expertly transcribed and engraved by David Shenton of New York Music Publishing. The layout of the music is clear and uncluttered, and the notation includes pedal markings and dynamics that allow the pianist to express the music as closely as possible to how Isadar played it on the recording. A few of the pieces are quite long and require a more advanced pianist who is able to express the nuances that keep the recording so interesting, but several of the pieces are well within the capabilities of upper intermediate players. Some of the rhythms are a little bit tricky, but the majority of the left hand parts are running eighth notes, which make it easier. None of the key signatures are difficult, and none of the chords have a reach of more than an octave, making this music very playable for smaller hands. My favorite pieces to play in this book are Joyful Running, Voice of God (Thanksgiving), Smoke Signals, and End of the Line. Isadar is an artist on both Enlightened Piano Radio & Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, the latter featuring some of today's biggest names in solo piano music, including Ludovico Einaudi, David Nevue, Brian Crain, Kevin Kern, Robin Spielberg, Michele McLaughlin, Philip Wesley and over 300 more... Also available as sheet music in physical songbooks, digital downloads, as as software for Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos. For more information, visit his website at: https://www.isadar.com.

Tenor voice solo, SATB choir unaccompanied - Moderately Difficult - Digital Download SKU: MQ.8322-E Composed by David Conte. Advanced/Collegiate. Secular, 21st Century, Americana, Children, Creation/Nature, Hope/Assurance. Instrument part. 15 pages. Duration 5 minutes, 42 seconds. E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital #8322-E. Published by E. C. Schirmer Music Company - Digital (MQ.8322-E). UPC: 600313483226. English. The three a cappella choral pieces that comprise “A Whitman Triptych†were composed between 2012 and 2014. O Setting Sun was commissioned by the Madison Chamber Choir, Madison, Wisconsin, Anthony Cao, conductor, and was premiered on April 20th, 2012. “What is the Grass†was composed for Cappella SF, Ragnar Bohlin, conductor, and is being premiered on tonight’s concert. Facing West was commissioned in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge by the International Orange Chorale, Zane Fiala, conductor, and was premiered on May 27th, 2012. I first set Whitman to music in 1986,when I adapted part of “When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloomed†as the basis for my composition “Invocation and Dance.†I went on to set “Good-Bye, My Fancy†for Male Chorus and Soprano Saxophone in 1992, and “Song of the Open Road†for Mixed Chorus and Piano in 2004. Like so many composers, I have found the visionary quality of Whitman’s verse inspiring; the vigor and intensity of the poetry seem naturally to draw out music. “What is the Grass?†is also an adaptation of a much longer poem, one of Whitman’s deepest, and most mysterious. The poem begins as a child-like meditation on grass; as hope, as an embodiment of new life and new growth in the plant world. Then suddenly there is a somber turn with the line “And now it seems to me the beautiful uncut hair of graves.†Here Whitman enters an extended mediation on how grass connects life and death, informed by his experiences in the Civil War. Hope returns with the line: “They are alive and well somewhere,†leading to the mysterious final line: “And to die is different from what anyone supposed, and luckier…†Here Whitman affirms that death can be an initiation into a broader participation of existence. In the words of poet Ivan M. Granger, Whitman offers a “Zen-like riddle that doesn’t offer an answer so much as a pathway of questioning.†My musical setting follows Whitman’s exploration, first taking a child’s point of view, expressed with lilting melodies set in a lively compound meter. The entry of the tenor soloist indicates a change of mood to the serious. The first mood returns, leading to a climax on the words “And led forward life…â€, set in 9-part harmony. The mood turns reverent, as the tenor soloist intones: “All goes onward and outward; nothing collapses.†The piece ends with a tone of gentle, slightly ironic questioning. -David ConteDuration: 5:42

Piano Solo - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.980449 Composed by Gary Noland. 20th Century,Concert,Contemporary. Score. 39 pages. Freeland Publications #3246459. Published by Freeland Publications (A0.980449). Duration: ca. 15-20 minutes. Lush extended tonal language. Highly chromatic and contrapuntal. An innovative fugue unlike any other in the literature. This work was begun in 1981 and underwent revisions on and off for 28 years until it was finally completed in 2009. This piece is intended only for first-rate virtuoso pianists. Written comments: Gary, this is wonderful! I am a Bach freak ... clearly you are as well (meant as a big compliment smile emoticon ). Love the title too heart emoticon.-Kurt Werderman. Completely charming. I get the Liebes part, but the other half seems entirely too much tongue-in-cheek fun for Schmerz. smile emoticon You wrote a brilliant piece that sounds so spontaneous it is hard to believe it had such a long gestation period as 28 years.-Rodney Punt. Here is to me really deep music of very high quality. I listened three times. The fugue has the kind of complexity and positive ambiguity which awakens my curiosity to listen again and again. The episodes are for me personally something of the most beautiful modern music written for piano I remember just now.-Frank David. Contains:<br> "Throwing The Dice"<br> - taken from the Isadar solo piano collections, "Active Imagination / Reconstructed" (also available on SMP) <br> <br> Sounds like: Liz Story's ("Things With Wings"), Philip Aaberg, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists<br> <br> Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording<br> <br> Note: A slightly different version of this composition is also heard on the Isadar album, "Reconstructed" (Produced by Will Ackerman)<br> <br> Album & Songbook Review by: Kathy Parsons<br> <br> I love this CD! It constantly amazes me how many outstanding composer/pianists there are out there - especially in relation to the few who are highly (commercially) successful within this broad genre. I would say that Active Imagination definitely belongs near the top of the heap. Isadar’s style is original, and his pianism is excellent. He lists his inspirations as Liz Story, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans, and I can hear traces of all three in his playing, but find his composing and playing styles to be uniquely his own.<br> <br> The first three tracks are lively and upbeat (“Active Imagination”, “Throwing the Dice”, and “Where the Wild Things Are”) with an easy, jazzy, improvised feel. The meter changes are fascinating, and the bluesy beat on “Wild Things” is infectious.<br> <br> From there, the mood seems to gradually darken and become more introspective. “Waiting” is a beautiful, flowing mood piece full of questions and a lovely melody line. Isadar’s cover of Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain” is wonderful - this is a piece I often work on with my advanced students, and everything about Isadar’s interpretation of the piece seems right without being a carbon-copy of Liz’s recording.<br> <br> “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light’)” has a nice, easy flow with a strong sense of mystery; it also has an unusual rhythm that lightens the mood and adds a bounce. “Uncertainty” is cooler and more aloof, but gorgeous in its flowing introspection - that it ends with a major chord, feels like the soul-searching has had positive results. “Love Chaconne” is the closing track, and is the longest and most abstract piece on the CD. The left hand plays a repeated pattern while the right hand goes off in several different directions (one of the primary characteristics of a “chaconne”). Beautiful in its simplicity, this is the only track that seems to contain an element of pain and sorrow, but never dissolves into melodrama.<br> <br> Active Imagination is excellent from start to finish and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes solo piano with substance and complexity, but is still accessible, melodic, and rhythmic. Bravo amundo!<br> <br> Active Imagination Sheet Music Collection is the companion songbook to Isadar’s 1999 CD release, Active Imagination. The CD was one of my favorites for the year when I reviewed it for the print version of “Wind and Wire” magazine, so I was really looking forward to the sheet music! Transcribed note-for-note by David Shenton of ShentonMusic.com (I proofed about half of the book, so I can attest to how accurate it is!), it is up to you to make the music sound as close to the CD as you want or to interpret the music and make your own statements with it.<br> <br> One thing that really stands out about this collection is how much FUN it is to play. The rhythms are interesting and catchy, and the mood in several of the songs is playful and upbeat. This is especially true with the title song, “Throwing the Dice,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light).” “Waiting,” “Love Chaconne,” and “Uncertainty” are slower, more introspective, and a bit moody, making this a sheet music collection that contains a variety of moods and styles. The only piece missing from the book is Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain,” but the sheet music for that song is available in some of Ms. Story’s own collections.<br> <br> Early-advanced players should have no trouble with this music. Piano Solo - Digital Download SKU: A0.1012713 Composed by Monica Bergo. Contemporary. Score. 10 pages. Moni Bergo #5742995. Published by Moni Bergo (A0.1012713). Music and song composed by me ALL AS BEFORE Tired flower bends the head photos in carved marble sad smell of the past along your tree-lined avenue how much peace in this place where you stand hidden cobwebs on your time and the scent of regret while I touch your beautiful face I ask myself who decided that your time would stop and that for you all would be over I, minstrel of my time, tell a thousand stories chronicles written in pencil real-life stories story now finished my fingers still drive, find notes and then the enchantment to disperse them in the wind there was a king in love, by a bewitched spell, with the madwoman his queen and everything comes back as before there tucked away in a corner There is a pathetic clown Look closer: it’s a little girl and everything comes back as before You clown what would you do? You want to approach the king and then you want to tell him of her polluted heart but him, he does not want to be touched and you have to amuse her smile and do not tire continue your ... dance ... in the void and silence suspended in time for your queen and everything comes back as before before your leap do you want to fly high mixed-up Icarus you have fallen into emptiness the beating of the heart makes too much noise rumbles here within into emptiness and silence no, do not love me, now or ever and hang on till the ultimate pain she'll pressure you and insinuate herself into your mind and end by doing you harm but I invisible to your eyes and I want to hug you, you do not want I would like to tell you what you do not know of me and then on swings of fantasy my hand close to yours we'll soar to the heights where she is not there if you want I will reinvent myself for you And I may please you ,I know but with your eyes you’ve already answered me and hidden I'll go .. The winter does not end the cold seems eternal here the sun dies ,effaces itself and then disappears Once upon a time there was or still is, who knows a minstrel that no longer has a court and he belongs to nobody, and no one will stop him while closing the door ,the king will delete him abracadabra here in my Kingdom nothing caresses, no kiss of goodby my name in history was written in pencil to be able to delete from a faded page the mind has its woodworm and you can not heal it past, present and she who reigns everywhere pages of your life flowing through my fingers for a king, tired and sick, who has not had a happy ending the spell is broken and now the veil has fallen regret makes its way into him and the minstrel would approach him puppet in love ,now disconnected from your wires seek your child and there is nothing like before there is the sunset in your eyes but I'm here by your side a daddy and his little girl and there is nothing like before .... ..... the be.

Small Ensemble Alto Flute,Bass Flute - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.764701 Composed by Traditional Irish Folk Song. Arranged by James Pybus. Celtic,Folk,Irish,Traditional. Score and parts. 17 pages. James Pybus #4992099. Published by James Pybus (A0.764701). Carrickfergus is an Irish folk song, named after the town of Carrickfergus in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Most of the story seems to occur in and around Kilkenny; indeed the Ballygran referred to in the song may be the local Ballingarry coal mines. Marble...black as ink is also mined locally. It was first recorded, under the name The Kerry Boatman, by Dominic Behan on an LP called The Irish Rover, released in 1965. This arrangement of this hauntingly beautiful song for either SSAB or SSSB Flute Quartet will give any group a chance to demonstrate its expressive capabilities. It is suitable for many performance situations. The duration is 3:17. Please contact me at james.pybus56@gmail.com.

Piano,Violin - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.948808 Composed by Serghei Rachmaninov. Arranged by Adrian F. Pipas. 20th Century. 7 pages. Adrian F. Pipas #6642575. Published by Adrian F. Pipas (A0.948808). ЗдеÑÑŒ хорошо (Zdes' khorosho, How nice is here) was written in April 1902, in a sweet moment in the composer's life: he had overcome a creative block and had just married his cousin Natalia Sarina. Zdes' khorosho is n. 7 from Twelve Romances, op. 21, a beautiful song that talks about the bond between man, nature and God. It’s also a love song; One of the things I like the most is the balance between contemplation and passion that Rachmaninov accomplishes. The poem, by the Countess Glafira Adolfovna Einerling, a contemporary writer of the composer who wrote under the pseudonym of Galina, simply describes a sunset. I don't know if the landscape portrayed is similar to what Rachmaninov could see from his home but no doubt he felt it part of his own; he even changed the beginning of the poem so he said that the nice place was here. Zdes' khorosho is a song full of lyricism, seemingly simple but demanding for the singer (please pay attention to the pianissimo at the last verse, which seems to arise from nowhere), with an exquisite accompaniment. Some scholars think that the true essence of Rachmaninov is found in songs like that, rather than in his athletic piano concerts. In 1963, the Russian composer Vladimir Michailovich Jurowski (father and grandfather of conductors) orchestrated ten songs by Rachmaninov, including Zdes' khorosho, and there is a later orchestration of this song by Michael Rot. You know that I usually find it difficult to renounce the original piano versions, especially when the composer didn't orchestrated them, but I recommend you to listen to Anna Netrebko singing this song with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra conducted by Valery Gergiev. You might wonder why I don't share this version here, there are two reasons: first, I can’t do without that beautiful piano; two, I chose my version months ago (something that lately happens quite often). I said before that Zdes' khorosho is between contemplation and passion; Most of singers enhance the most contemplative perspective, that's the case of the lovely performance by Anna Netrebko. Others sing the most passionate version, like the one we’re listening today. Its tempo is faster than usual, it lasts about a minute and a half; maybe it would surprise you if you're used to slower versions. I hope you enjoy this song as much as me; I think this performance by Nicolai Gedda and Gerald Moore, recorded live in 1966, is wonderful.Source: Liederabend.cathttps://www.liederabend.cat/en/bloc/entrades/400-how-nice-it-is-here

Instrumental Solo,Piano - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1500900 By Asumi Nakata. By Kouji Hayashi and Yukiko Mitsui. Arranged by Alba Calvo Hernández. 20th Century,Contemporary,Film/TV,Soul. Score and individual part. 3 pages. Alba Calvo #1076927. Published by Alba Calvo (A0.1500900). LEGEND OF MERMAIND - Sara's slow version - (Piano accompaniment) for INTERMEDIATE PIANO Hello! My name is Alba and I consider myself the biggest Pichi Pichi Pitch fan since I was a little kid, like many others my age. I've always been obsessed with Sara's version of Legend of Mermaind. It's such a beautiful arrangement and the way it fits the scene makes me cry every time, so I really wanted to play it, but after years of searching for the sheet music without finding anything, I decided to arrange it myself. It took me a lot of time, I'm not going to lie, since the piece is more difficult than it seems, at least for me, since I'm still relatively new to the piano. Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :-).
