Although the ensemble vocals in this chart carry the lyric from time to time, their most memorable role is in that of the horn section, as is heard at the outset. The often-muted, funky guitar part is recommended, although is functionally optional.

Piano - Digital Download SKU: A0.1071368 Arranged by Chris Cooke. Christian,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Accompaniment. Duration 4241. Chris Cooke #3004317. Published by Chris Cooke (A0.1071368). This book is a recording of the printed piano accompaniment book in this series. Besides accompanying solo or duet instruments, these recordings may also be used for group singing. There is a short introduction, and enough repeats of the verses in case you would like to play or sing them all! While these recordings contain multiple verses, the print version (also available on Sheet Music Plus) contains only one verse with no introduction. All hymns are in a good vocal range except Christ the Lord is Risen Today which is in F to accommodate a more accessible playing range. The only hymn not included in this recording (that occurs in the print book) is Great is Thy Faithfulness, since I only have print publication rights to this piece. This is one large file, containing all 34 accompaniments. For this reason, I have notated the cue point, i.e. the time in the recording when each hymn occurs so they can be located more easily within this one-hour and 10-minute recording. For instance, the second hymn would be found at the 2-minute and 17-second time point. The full list of hymns, with their concert keys, cue points, and length of the introduction, is below: Abide with Me, C; 4-measure intro All Hail the Power of Jesus’ Name, E-flat; cue point: 0:2:17; 4-measure intro Am I A Soldier of the Cross; E-flat; cue point: 0:4:18; 4-measure intro Amazing Grace, E-flat; cue point: 0:5:33; 4-measure intro Blessed Assurance, B-flat; cue point: 0:8:11; 2-measure intro Blest Be the Tie That Binds, E-flat; cue point 0:10:19; 3-measure intro Christ the Lord is Risen Today, F; cue point: 0:12:12; 2-measure intro Come Thou Almighty King, E-flat; cue point: 0:14:36; 4-measure intro Come Thou Fount of Ev’ry Blessing, B-flat; cue point: 0:16:21;4-measure intro Count Your blessings, B-flat; cue point: 0:18:01; 4-measure intro Crown Him With Many Crowns, B-flat; cue point: 0:20:36; 4-measure intro Doxology, E-flat; cue point: 0:22:55; 4-measure intro For the Beauty of the Earth, C; cue point: 0:23:14; 4-measure intro God of Grace and God of Glory, F; cue point: 0:25:49; 2-measure intro Holy, Holy, Holy, B-flat; cue point: 0:27:39; 4-measure intro I Surrender All, C; cue point: 0:30:34; 2-measure intro In Christ There is No East or West, B-flat; cue point: 0:33:26;2-measure intro It is Well with My Soul, B-flat; cue point: 0:35:33; 3-measure intro Jesus Loves Me, B-flat; cue point: 0:36:50; 4-measure intro Jesus the Very Thought of Thee, F; cue point: 0:39:08; 2.75 measure intro Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee, C; cue point: 0:40:35; 4-measure intro Love Divine, All Loves Excelling, E-flat; cue point: 0:43:11; 4-measure intro My Country Tis of Thee, E-flat; cue point: 0:45:51; 4-measure intro O Sacred Head, Now Wounded, E-minor; cue point: 0:47:45; 4-measure intro O For A Thousand Tongues to Sing, F; cue point: 0:49:58; 4-measure intro Oh God, Our Help in Ages Past, B-flat; cue point: 0:51:00; 4-measure intro Onward Christian Soldiers, B-flat; cue point: 0:52:46; 4-measure intro Praise Him, Praise Him All Ye Little Children, B-flat; cue point:0:56:08; 4-measure intro Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, E-flat; cue point: 0:57:07; 4-measure intro Sweet Hour of Prayer, B-flat; cue point: 0:59:12; 4-measure intro Take My Life and Let It Be, E-flat; cue point: 1:02:22; 8-measure intro The Battle Hymn of the Republic, B-flat; cue point: 1:04:15; 2-measure intro What a Friend We Have in Jesus, C; cue point: 1:06:33; 4-measure intro Whisper a Prayer, E-flat; cue point: 1:09:12; 4-measure intro

Harp - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889438 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Christmas,Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score. 6 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #4758665. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889438). The piece is thou very simple and easy to perform. It is appropriate for the harp and it sounds great on any kind of harp. When using a little lap harp, one can easily transpose the bass voice an octave higher. It is a flexible piece, you can play it slower or a little faster and even the arpeggio in the end that becomes quite easy after some practice could be replaced by a simple glissando. You should feel Free to apply in this piece the Art and technic that expresses entirely your individual skills, Your taste and Your Soul. It is a piece that can be used in many different kinds of situations, from the serious concert hall to a funeral, in Easter or even Christmas celebrations and all other kinds of Spiritual events or even joyful social meetings. When performed Live It will give you back a great feedback from the public, you will always want to have it in your repertoire. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Luis Anjos Teixeira „Now comes the Little Story The Volcano`s Lake was composed on a volcano called Pico that stands out about 2000 meters above see level right in the middle of the Atlantic ocean. From the bottom of the ocean to its pick it is higher than mount Everest. I like to know that there are an enormous amount of different species of whales that live in this area and many others that go there strictly for romance. I went there to perform with the harp but was at the same time deeply morning the death of my Dear Cat Mary Jane that tragically passed away the day before the flight. In this isle I was having at night strange dreams of epic battles and fights between flying Angels and Demons. In one of these dreams „Time and Matter were a byproduct of „Music itself. The wind was blowing, the volcano was dancing and the water on the lake was whispering enchanting melodies. As soon as I woke up I wrote some notes before they vanished away, just a fragment of an idea of what I was listening in the dream. I named it „The Volcano`s Lake, because the „Lake was comforting me with its melodies, I realized that my tears were also becoming the lake itself and in this lake I was becoming one with Mary Jane and all the rest of the Universe. Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the all the Love the wonderful painting and cover design. Special Thanks to Stray Dog Nina, Stray Queen Mimi, Carlinhos, Maria Pontinha, Mary Jane, Schwarzenegger, Maria Koboldinha. For all Living beings on Earth, for all our Ancestors, Thank You for all of You All Your Love and Compassion. Love Forever. Luis Anjos Teixeira Disclaimer: The score was written on Finale. Some of Isadar’s earlier recordings have very dark, moody sections, but this one stays fairly upbeat and optimistic without being ear candy. The music is complex enough to sink your teeth into, and yet is accessible enough to enjoy as a backdrop to a quiet dinner or an evening with a good book. Joyful Running begins the journey with an exuberant and uplifting piece that reminds me a little of some of Spencer Brewer’s bouncier compositions. Fountain of Life is a beautiful piece with a water-like flow that never stops in its 10 1/2 minutes. I listened to this CD several times without realizing that this song was that long. It flows and meanders so effortlessly that it seemed no longer than the other seven selections, most of which are between four and five minutes in length. Unstructured and free, this is one of my favorite tracks. I also really like the title track, which is even more abstract and unstructured. The tone is of searching and moving forward. End of the Line is my favorite on this album. Very introspective and contemplative, this seems to be a very personal piece. It is the most somber track, but one still senses hope despite the ending of something dear and important. Or maybe it’s simply the end of the journey and the dread of returning to real life - I feel this way on the last day of my vacations! It is a wonderful and moving closing to an excellent album. The companion songbook is expertly transcribed and engraved by David Shenton of New York Music Publishing. The layout of the music is clear and uncluttered, and the notation includes pedal markings and dynamics that allow the pianist to express the music as closely as possible to how Isadar played it on the recording. A few of the pieces are quite long and require a more advanced pianist who is able to express the nuances that keep the recording so interesting, but several of the pieces are well within the capabilities of upper intermediate players. Some of the rhythms are a little bit tricky, but the majority of the left hand parts are running eighth notes, which make it easier. None of the key signatures are difficult, and none of the chords have a reach of more than an octave, making this music very playable for smaller hands. My favorite pieces to play in this book are Joyful Running, Voice of God (Thanksgiving), Smoke Signals, and End of the Line. Isadar is an artist on both Enlightened Piano Radio & Whisperings Solo Piano Radio, the latter featuring some of today's biggest names in solo piano music, including Ludovico Einaudi, David Nevue, Brian Crain, Kevin Kern, Robin Spielberg, Michele McLaughlin, Philip Wesley and over 300 more... Also available as sheet music in physical songbooks, digital downloads, as as software for Yamaha Disklavier player-pianos. For more information, visit his website at: https://www.isadar.com.

Thoughtful, introspective, and a bit moody, Isadar’s arrangements are true to the carols (with some small melody changes in “Bring a Torch” and “Carol of the Bells” that bother me just a little) and still seem very personal. “Bring a Torch”, “The Holly and the Ivy”, and “I Saw Three Ships” are given a lighthearted, joyful treatment. “Star of Wonder (We Three Kings)”, “What Child Is This?”, “The Coventry Carol”, and “Sing We Now of Christmas” are all minor, somber, reverent pieces, and all four are given loving arrangements that keep the dark, mysterious nature of the songs and reflect Isadar’s own sensibilities. “Carol of the Bells” and Isadar's take on Liz Story’s arrangement of “Greensleeves” are energetic without losing all abandon. “Silent Night” and “It Came Upon a Midnight Clear” present us with a very cold, deep solitude - both feel like late night with moonlight reflecting off the snow. Both are moody, but very beautifully so. George Winston’s “December” is one of my all-time favorite holiday albums, and I feel In Search For the Meaning of Christmas holds up exceptionally well next to it. Healing Hearts 2<br> Louis Landon<br> 2015 / Landon Creative<br> 66 minutes<br> Review by Kathy Parsons<br> Louis Landon continues to soar on the wings of an amazingly creative period - now going on several years! Healing Hearts 2 is the follow-up to Healing Hearts, which was released the end of 2014 and is nominated for Album of the Year on Whisperings Solo Piano Radio. This is Landon’s second album for 2015 and he’s already working on his first release for 2016! The fourteen tracks on Healing Hearts 2 were gathered from improvisations created during sessions at Landon’s Healing Piano of Sedona (AZ), so the piano solos are very smooth and soothing - probably the most relaxed and relaxing album of Landon’s career. Recorded on a Steinway B grand piano at The Peace Palace in Sedona and mastered by Joe Bongiorno at Piano Haven, also in Sedona, the piano sound is impeccable - very warm and enveloping. Landon told me that this is the best music he never wrote, referring to the fact that the music just flows out of him during these sessions, reflective of each client’s wants and needs at the time of the session.<br> <br> The full Healing Hearts 2 album is a little more than an hour of quietly uplifting music and works exceptionally well as a relaxing and healing experience. I’d like to mention a few favorite pieces, though. The album begins with “Sisters,” a very gentle piece that expresses the love and special bond that can exist between sisters. Very light and free, it’s a beautiful start. “Free At Last” starts out almost mournfully - dark and searching - gradually becoming livelier and more optimistic. It’s an amazing musical journey and development! “Relax and Enjoy” expresses the warm comfort of just letting go and “being” for awhile - leisurely and contented. “Feeling the Love” is so warm and open that it feels like a musical embrace - melodic yet very free. “All Is Well” is almost ambient, but what a wonderful atmosphere of quiet contentment it creates - a perfect peace. “Transition” is like floating on a cloud - effortless and so peaceful. “Dark Nights” is one of the most beautiful pieces Landon has recorded. It reminds me a little bit of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” and some of Chopin’s Nocturnes - so poignant and heartfelt that it takes my breath away. The gracefully flowing “Dancer” expresses freedom and elegant movement. “Lullaby” closes this excellent album with a piece so soothing it could melt the tension out of anyone. Gorgeous!<br> <br> If you are looking for music that will relax and refresh your inner being, you need to look no further than Healing Hearts 2. Piano Solo - Advanced - Digital Download Composed by Isadar. Contemporary Classical, Neo- Classical, Activities and Games, Recital, New Age. Sheet Music Single. 9 pages. Published by Mainya Music Publishing (BMI)
Contains:<br> "Throwing The Dice"<br> - taken from the Isadar solo piano collections, "Active Imagination / Reconstructed" (also available on SMP) <br> <br> Sounds like: Liz Story's ("Things With Wings"), Philip Aaberg, George Winston, early Windham Hill solo piano artists<br> <br> Transcribed by: David Shenton ( https://www.shentonmusic.com/ ) verbatim to the sound recording<br> <br> Note: A slightly different version of this composition is also heard on the Isadar album, "Reconstructed" (Produced by Will Ackerman)<br> <br> Album & Songbook Review by: Kathy Parsons<br> <br> I love this CD! It constantly amazes me how many outstanding composer/pianists there are out there - especially in relation to the few who are highly (commercially) successful within this broad genre. I would say that Active Imagination definitely belongs near the top of the heap. Isadar’s style is original, and his pianism is excellent. He lists his inspirations as Liz Story, Keith Jarrett, and Bill Evans, and I can hear traces of all three in his playing, but find his composing and playing styles to be uniquely his own.<br> <br> The first three tracks are lively and upbeat (“Active Imagination”, “Throwing the Dice”, and “Where the Wild Things Are”) with an easy, jazzy, improvised feel. The meter changes are fascinating, and the bluesy beat on “Wild Things” is infectious.<br> <br> From there, the mood seems to gradually darken and become more introspective. “Waiting” is a beautiful, flowing mood piece full of questions and a lovely melody line. Isadar’s cover of Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain” is wonderful - this is a piece I often work on with my advanced students, and everything about Isadar’s interpretation of the piece seems right without being a carbon-copy of Liz’s recording.<br> <br> “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light’)” has a nice, easy flow with a strong sense of mystery; it also has an unusual rhythm that lightens the mood and adds a bounce. “Uncertainty” is cooler and more aloof, but gorgeous in its flowing introspection - that it ends with a major chord, feels like the soul-searching has had positive results. “Love Chaconne” is the closing track, and is the longest and most abstract piece on the CD. The left hand plays a repeated pattern while the right hand goes off in several different directions (one of the primary characteristics of a “chaconne”). Beautiful in its simplicity, this is the only track that seems to contain an element of pain and sorrow, but never dissolves into melodrama.<br> <br> Active Imagination is excellent from start to finish and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes solo piano with substance and complexity, but is still accessible, melodic, and rhythmic. Bravo amundo!<br> <br> Active Imagination Sheet Music Collection is the companion songbook to Isadar’s 1999 CD release, Active Imagination. The CD was one of my favorites for the year when I reviewed it for the print version of “Wind and Wire” magazine, so I was really looking forward to the sheet music! Transcribed note-for-note by David Shenton of ShentonMusic.com (I proofed about half of the book, so I can attest to how accurate it is!), it is up to you to make the music sound as close to the CD as you want or to interpret the music and make your own statements with it.<br> <br> One thing that really stands out about this collection is how much FUN it is to play. The rhythms are interesting and catchy, and the mood in several of the songs is playful and upbeat. This is especially true with the title song, “Throwing the Dice,” “Where the Wild Things Are,” and “Feu Follet (the ‘spook’ light).” “Waiting,” “Love Chaconne,” and “Uncertainty” are slower, more introspective, and a bit moody, making this a sheet music collection that contains a variety of moods and styles. The only piece missing from the book is Liz Story’s “Wedding Rain,” but the sheet music for that song is available in some of Ms. Story’s own collections.<br> <br> Early-advanced players should have no trouble with this music.
