Sohrab Uduman read music at the University of Surrey and went on to study composition at the University of Birmingham, receiving his PhD in 1993. His music has received several awards, including an international prize at the Huddersfield Festival of Contemporary Music, The Bourges International Competition for Electroacoustic Music, the George Butterworth award and the Oskar Back Foundation Prize for Young European Composers. Sohrab Uduman's music has featured at many festivals, including the Oxford Festival of Contemporary Music, The Spitalfields Festival, the Cheltenham International Festival of Music, Darmstadt, Britten Festival Brugges and Agora Festival at the Centre Georges Pompidou Paris. This composition was written for bass clarinet soloist Sarah Watts, who did extensive research on bass clarinet multiphonics. This piece is a great illustration on the integration of multiphonics in contemporary music.

Israeli pianist Tal Weissman was born in Haifa in 1972, and began his musical training at age four. While a youth, he performed as a soloist with most of the orchestras in Israel, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Israel Chamber Orchestra. He was awarded an Outstanding Israeli Competitor at the Arthur Rubenstein Competition in 1992, and has won prizes in international piano competitions in Europe.In 1995, Weissman was accepted for piano studies with the internationally renowned pianist and pedagogue Maria Curcio Diamand in London. During this period of study in London, he was awarded many prizes and performed in most of the major concert venues in England. In 1999, he made a concert tour of the United States.Tal Weissman returned to Israel in 2004, where he teaches piano privately and continues to perform both in Israel and abroad. His compositions for piano and other instruments express the human sprit as it faces the challenges of the world.

Born in Mexico City, VÃctor Báez's works have been performed in concerts and premieres in several cities in North and South America and Europe, such as Klangspuren Schwaz, Komponisten Marathon Vienna and the International Forum for New Music in Mexico City. His work is broadcasted regularly by the Mexican and Austrian radio. Prizes and awards include 3 consecutive yearly composition grants from the Austrian Ministry of Arts, Culture and Education, a START Grant for New Young Artists, and the Fulbright Scholarship for his oncoming doctoral studies, starting in the Fall of 2014 in New York City.
