Everybody knows this classic children's hymn, but nobody has heard it quite like this before. It's very cool and a lot of fun. Can feature any instrumental or even vocal soloists. A word of warning: if you use a vocalist, there's a very good chance that the audience will start singing along with some hand jive motions included. Playable with limited instrumentation. A truly unique arrangement, it's perfect for church and private school performances!

A solidly scored rock tune with a 1960's feel that is full of energy. Perfect for developing bands, it has no solos, but lots of fun as each section in the band has interesting parts. Sure to be a favorite with students and its a wonderful chart to develop confidence in young players and audiences are sure to love it. A real winner!

Bob Curnow took Ken Hanna's wonderful, latin, medium-tempo tune and made it a bit more accessible for good bands. The ranges are a bit more realistic and practical. This also features alto sax and trumpet (not trombone as originally arranged). The original version is recorded on the Live at Butler University CD. 5-5-5-3 (can be played with only 8 brass).

A monumental piece of big band jazz. This was written for Les' fantastic Chicago band. It is an extensive work (about 12 minutes) which features trumpet (or flugelhorn) throughout in various settings and styles, based on one of the most beautiful melodies Les has ever written. There are also piano solos. Woodwind players must be good doublers and it is well worth the effort. This is certainly one of Hooper's most dynamic and interesting creations (among a great many)! As recorded on the Dorian Blue LP. 5-4-4-3.
