This edition presents a piece that belongs in the standard repertoire of every flutist: the Sonata for Flute and Basso continuo (“Hallenser No. 1”, HWV 374) in A minor by Georg Friedrich Händel. It allows you to work through the piece systematically and at different tempi with accompaniment.
The recordings begin with the concert version of each piece, following which you will hear the piano accompaniment at slow and medium tempo to help you practise. Having mastered these slower versions, you’ll now be ready to play with piano accompaniment at the original tempo. All of the versions were recorded live.

Sie hören zunächst die Konzertversion eines jeden Stückes (Flöte und Klavier). Zum Üben folgt nun im langsamen und mittleren Tempo die Klavierbegleitung: anschließend können Sie sich im Originaltempo begleiten lassen. Alle eingespielten Versionen wurden live aufgenommen.

Les playbacks vous permettent de travailler l’œuvre systématiquement trois tempos différents avec un accompagnement professionnel.
Chaque playback fait d’abord entendre la version de concert d’un morceau (fl te et piano). Mais vous y trouverez également un accompagnement de piano pour travailler un tempo lent puis un autre un tempo intermédiaire. Une fois un morceau maîtrisé, vous pourrez le jouer au tempo d’origine avec l’accompagnement de piano. Toutes les versions ont été enregistrées en live.

This collection contains works, selected and arranged by Franco Cesarini, that explore the wide spectrum of Russian romantic music. On one side are the followers of Russian nationalism, including composers from Glinka and Mussorgsky, to Cui and Glasunov. They provide a contrast to the more western influenced music of Tchaikovsky and Rubinstein. The book comes with a CD which includes demos of each piece and piano accompaniments to play along with when a pianist isn't available.

De stukken in dit album verkennen het brede spectrum van de Russische romantische muziek. Aan de ene kant zijn er de aanhangers van het Russische nationalisme -van Glinka en Moessorgski tot Cui en Glazunov. Deze componisten hebbeneen heel andere invalshoek dan de meer door de westerse muziek be nvloede Tsjaikovski en Rubinstein. Op de meegeleverde cd staat van elk stuk een demoversie, gevolgd door een play-alongversie met alleen de pianobegeleiding.

Da una parte i fautori del nazionalismo russo tra i quali Glinka e Mussorgski, dall'altra compositori influenzati dalla musica occidentale quali Tschaikovsky. Il CD propone l'incisione completa di ogni brano, seguita da una traccia con il solo accompagnamento del piano per consentirvi di eseguire la parte solista.
