Originally arranged for piano, Arnold has adapted Joel's setting for handbell choirs. The fresh harmonic structure and repeated rhythmic ideas work wonderfully on handbells. The use of mart sounds and big, thick chords is offset by a more legato and augmented melody in the dynamic mid-section.
