For 3 to 6 octave handbell choir and optional 2 octaves of handchimes. Rated level 4. Ron Mallory's original piece works well not just in concert, but also as a non-traditional choice for Easter Sunday service, or any other celebratory time during the church year. A driving, syncopated melody -- at first lightly accompanied, then propelled by malleted bells -- gives way to a gentler, reflective middle section with a melody on chimes. The initial idea returns at the end to bring the piece to a final, triumphant conclusion. A fun piece both to ring and hear!
