Concert Band/Harmonie and Horn Solo - Grade 4 SKU: BT.DHP-1064055-010 Pièce pour cor et orchestre d'harmonie. Composed by Maxime Aulio. Solo Spectrum. Solo & Concerto. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2006. De Haske Publications #DHP 1064055-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1064055-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. Originally written by the great English writer J.R.R. Tolkien (1892-1973), The Lord of the Rings has encountered new-found popularity recently with the release of three ?huge-hit? motion pictures. With Bilbo the Hobbit we enter the lands of Middle-earth during the Third Age, some decades before The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Fascinated by the works of the masters of film music, Maxime Aulio structured this work in their way. When the end credits roll, Maxime?s music displays all the basic characters and passages of the novel. From the landscapes of the Shire to Middle-earth, the Great Dragons to Gandalf the Wizard, Bilbo Baggins tells us his story through light and virtuosoarabesques in the solo part. Bilbo the Hobbit is a wonderful addition to the french horn repertoire and one to be a sure-fire hit with horn players everywhere.
$181.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Concert Band/Harmonie - Grade 5 SKU: BT.DHP-1033505-010 Gulliver's Travels. Composed by Maxime Aulio. Sovereign Series. Concert Piece. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2003. De Haske Publications #DHP 1033505-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1033505-010). 9x12 inches. Maxime Aulio composed Les Voyages de Gulliver (Gulliver’s Travels) for the concert band of the Conservatoire National de Région in Toulouse (France) conducted by Jean-Guy Olive. The first performance took place in Toulouse (Auditorium Saint-Pierre des Cuisines) on April 25, 2001. The Anglo-Irish author Jonathan Swift (1667-1745) took about six years to complete his epic tale of adventure. The creative storyline, clear writing and subtlety of Gulliver’s Travels have been engaging readers for generations. This literary travel between reason and foolishness was Maxime Aulio’s inspiration for this piece. Each of the four movements of this suite is a review of Gulliver’sadventures, resembling the effect of a kaleidoscope, which juxtaposes small fragments of colour in a linear pattern.
$322.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

English-German-French-Dutch. “Don’t listen to anyone’s advice, but listen to the lessons of the wind passing and telling the history of the world.†Claude Debussy Since the dawn of time, the wind has played an important role in all civilisations. Worshipped as a deity, “mastermind†of poetry, driving force, or heaven’s messenger, the wind took on the most varied shapes according to the era and people. In Claude Debussy’s time, music listened to the voice of nature, and imagination found its primary rights again. This importance of wind was the inspiration for Maxime Aulio’s work Whispering Wind with its suspended atmospheres, vaporous lines and luminous colours. The wind caresses the canvas. A fascinatingnew work for concert band.

Saxophone Quartet - advanced SKU: BT.DHP-1125326-070 Opus 2. Composed by Maxime Aulio. De Haske Saxophone Series. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2012. 16 pages. De Haske Publications #DHP 1125326-070. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1125326-070). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. Arachnophobia - fear of spiders - is the title of one of Maxime Aulio's first compositions for saxophone quartet (SATB). It is a simple musical amusement and a humorous allusion to the composer's fear of spiders. Come forth intrepid saxophone players!
$42.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Maxime Aulio was so enthralled by Monique de Huetras’ book Contes et légendes de Savoie, which contains tales and legends from the depths of the earth to the tops of the mountains, that he had to translate it into music. Music presents the perfect medium to add colour to the stories and life to the characters. Like voices from the past The Bilberry Fairy and the Chamois, The Magic Stick and The Lady from Val de Fier all appear for a while, and time stands still as you are told The Legend of Duvallon.

The Butterfly that Stamped is a story from the anthology Just So Stories, written by Rudyard Kipling for his daughter who suffered constant bad health. The book inspired composer Maxim Aulio to compose this work which is in a French impressionistic style. The piece opens with a beautiful palace surrounded by the impressive gardens of King Solomon. It is in these gardens that the baritone saxophone makes its appearance representing King Solomon himself, the flute representing the butterfly couple, the clarinet representing Queen Balkis and the trumpet the djin.
Published by De Haske Publications (HL.44012052). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. Les Trois Mousquetaires (The Three Musketeers) was commissioned by the Miraphone company for the Miraphone Tuba Quartett and the Musique des Gardiens de la Paix (Paris, France). It was premiered in Guebwiller (France), on 28 June 2003 by its dedicatees.Even if you have never read a line of the mythical novel The Three Musketeers (1844) by Alexandre Dumas, father, you will at least have heard of the four invincibles; four extraordinary names - D'Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis - and one unique motto All for one, and one for all. The musical texture of Les Trois Mousquetaires is focused on specific elements of a character's personality rather thanon its influence on the book's plot. Maxime Aulio has largely turned his attention on D'Artagnan, the sensitive, romantic and perfect gentleman who is easily charmed by women such as the gentle Constance Bonacieux and the perfidious Milady de Winter whose beguiling beauty seduced him. The first movement - D'Artagnan - is true to the character of the young provincial noble of the Gascony region: heroic and enthusiastic in all circumstances. The second movement entitled Constance Bonacieux, is romantic, delicate and passionate. The third and last movement is as duplicitous as the bewitching femme fatale its reveals: Milady de Winter.

Concert Band and Brass Quartet - Grade 5 SKU: BT.DHP-1094490-010 Les Trois Mousquetaires. Composed by Maxime Aulio. Solo Spectrum. Concert Piece. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2009. De Haske Publications #DHP 1094490-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1094490-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch. Les Trois Mousquetaires (The Three Musketeers) was commissioned by the Miraphone company for the Miraphone Tuba Quartett and the Musique des Gardiens de la Paix (Paris, France). It was premièred in Guebwiller (France), on 28 June 2003 by its dedicatees.Even if you have never read a line of the mythical novel The Three Musketeers (1844) by Alexandre Dumas, father, you will at least have heard of the “four invinciblesâ€; four extraordinary names - D’Artagnan, Athos, Porthos, and Aramis - and one unique motto “All for one, and one for all.†The musical texture of Les Trois Mousquetaires is focused on specific elements of a character’s personality rather thanon its influence on the book's plot. Maxime Aulio has largely turned his attention on D’Artagnan, the sensitive, romantic and perfect gentleman who is easily charmed by women such as the gentle Constance Bonacieux and the perfidious Milady de Winter whose beguiling beauty seduced him. The first movement - D’Artagnan - is true to the character of the young provincial noble of the Gascony region: heroic and enthusiastic in all circumstances. The second movement entitled Constance Bonacieux, is romantic, delicate and passionate. The third and last movement is as duplicitous as the bewitching femme fatale its reveals: Milady de Winter.

$322.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

The Last Dream of the Old Oak (Le dernier rêve du chêne) deMaxime Aulio s’inspire du conte éponyme d’Andersen. $38.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

The Last Dream of the Old Oak (Le dernier rêve du chêne) deMaxime Aulio s’inspire du conte éponyme d’Andersen. $196.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Concert Band/Harmonie and Bassoon Solo - Grade 5 SKU: BT.DHP-1084489-010 For bassoon and concert band. Composed by Maxime Aulio. Solo Spectrum. Solo & Concerto. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2008. De Haske Publications #DHP 1084489-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1084489-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch.
$236.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

$34.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks

Concert Band/Harmonie and Flute Solo - Grade 5 SKU: BT.DHP-1094445-010 Suite concertante pour flûte/piccolo solo, harp obligée et Orchestre d'Harmonie. Composed by Maxime Aulio. Solo Spectrum. Concert Piece. Set (Score & Parts). Composed 2009. De Haske Publications #DHP 1094445-010. Published by De Haske Publications (BT.DHP-1094445-010). 9x12 inches. English-German-French-Dutch.
$322.95 - See more - Buy onlinePre-shipment lead time: 2 to 3 weeks
