(in due volumi) è
quello di introdurre
l’allievo in modo
semplice e piacevole nel
mondo della musica
attraverso la chitarra,
conoscendo diversi modi
di suonare e di fare
musica usando la propria
creatività . Grazie
a questo testo si

principali tecniche

generi musicali e si
potrà anche inventare
musica. Il Metodo è
utilizzabile con
qualsiasi modello di
chitarra.
Il
secondo volume del Metodo
sviluppa e approfondisce
a un livello più
avanzato i principi
esposti nel primo volume.
Musica

tecniche estese,
accordature alternative,
collegamenti
interdisciplinari,
notazioni alternative,
suggerimenti di ascolto,
semplici tecniche di
improvvisazione,
composizione e
arrangiamento sono alcune
tra le tante attivitÃ

fargli sviluppare un
proprio linguaggio

redigere questi appunti
di studio, spero di
comunicare la mia
‘curiosità&r
squo; verso la prassi
compositiva di uno tra i
più grandi maestri
di tutti i tempi: Johann
Sebastian Bach
(1685-1750). Per
comprendere (almeno in
parte) lo stile bachiano,
mi sono basato su alcune
strutture armoniche
riscontrabili con
regolarità in fasi
precadenzali. Ho
potuto notare come una di
queste strutture da me
indagate (nello studio
definita formula-tipo)
venisse ulteriormente
elaborata in tutti i suoi
parametri musicali
fondamentali (melodia,
contrappunto, armonia e
ritmo) per dare vita a
‘nuovi’
insiemi
armonico-contrappuntistic
i. Tali formule derivate
dimostrano come lo stile
compositivo bachiano
poggi soprattutto su
tecniche di tipo
artigianale. Ho potuto
inoltre ammirare come il
Maestro abbia saputo
coniugare il contrappunto
di origine modale
rinascimentale con le
proprie (geniali)
invenzioni armoniche,
basate sul
‘moderno’
funzionalismo tonale
(vedi la formula tipo
modale). Perciò
è mia convinzione
che, nello studio sui
corali, per
caratterizzare lo stile
compositivo del Kantor
bisogna innanzi tutto
identificare i componenti
essenziali del suo
linguaggio armonico
cadenzale (linguaggio
‘moderno’ ma
nello stesso tempo
derivato dalla tradizione
dei maestri del
’500). Individua
ti gli elementi
strutturali peculiari,
possiamo riconoscerli,
reiterati nei punti
‘chiave’
(cadenze) del discorso
musicale tonale; in tal
modo, essi concorrono a
rendere unitaria ed
organica la tipica
armonizzazione a quattro
voci di una forma
musicale così
ricca di varianti
melodiche come il corale
evangelico luterano.

6.5 x 9.5
inches. Il dhrupad
è un genere della
musica classica
dell’India del
Nord, in auge tra il XVI
e il XIX secolo. Sorto
come forma di canto
devozionale di una
congregazione visnuita
del Madhyades, il dhrupad
è successivamente
divenuto una raffinata
espressione della cultura
classica delle corti
indù e musulmane.
Come tale il dhrupad
è un essenziale
punto di riferimento per
conoscere i principi
della
‘grammatica’
e dell’estetica
musicale indiana e le
tecniche esecutive
(vocali e strumentali)
che le sono proprie. In
particolare per il canto
esiste un repertorio
estremamente ricco di
abbellimenti ed
espedienti tecnici,
tramandati oralmente di
padre in figlio
all’interno di
famiglie di musicisti,
custodi di un proprio
orientamento stilistico
(gharana). Tra le poche
famiglie che attualmente
eseguono il dhrupad, la
più antica
è quella del Dagar
Gharana, che fa risalire
le proprie origini al XVI
secolo. Pertanto il Dagar
Gharana è il punto
di osservazione scelto
dall’autrice nello
studio del dhrupad, con
particolare riguardo allo
stile di uno dei suoi
più autorevoli
interpreti: Ustad Rahim
Fahimuddin Dagar. $25.95 - Voir plus => AcheterDélais: 3 to 4 weeks

l Liebermann's 4th String
Quartet was commissioned
by the Canandaigua Lake
Chamber Music Festival
and the Wood Library,
Canandaigua, NY, for the
Orion Quartet in
celebration of their 20th
Anniversary. The quartet
was premiered by the
Orions at the Canandaigua
Lake Chamber Music
Festival in Rochester, NY
on February 9th, 2008. To
quote the writer Mark
Greenberg: It's a
remarkable piece. The
mood is elegiacal and
meditative, the melodic
lines sinuous and
searching, the harmonies
rich and astonishingly
beautiful. Liebermann
works within the
traditions of Western
tonality, but that is a
mansion with many rooms.
Liebermann inhabits all
of them as his expressive
purposes require, and he
doesn't mind knocking
down a wall to create new
harmonic spaces. The
Fourth Quartet doesn't
exactly fit the
neoromantic niche into
which Liebermann is
sometimes placed. Much of
the music, especially
near the beginning, is a
highly advanced and fluid
chromatic expressionism
with modernist
tendencies. Sometimes
this roiling cloudscape
breaks open to allow a
patch of near-classical
harmony and
almost-resolution. Near
the midpoint the clouds
lift in leaping
modulations. Several
chordal passages recall
Russian Orthodox chant.
Suddenly, when you've
begun to think the
somber, deliberate pace
has gone on a bit too
long, Liebermann
introduces a kind of
hobbled, stilted jazz
idiom. The piece dies in
pensive quiet. $43.99 - Voir plus => AcheterDélais: 2 to 3 weeks
