Arranged by Adrian Budgen. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. 23 pages. Mister Bee #769360. Published by Mister Bee (A0.1170086). Matchmaker - from Fiddler on the Roof arranged for Saxophone Sextet (1 Soprano, 2 Altos, 2 Tenors, 1 Baritone)This fairly straightforward arrangement makes use of some rich and gentle saxophone sounds to evoke the atmosphere of the original song. Â It draws on the phrygian dominant scale to create a distinctive atmosphere linking with some of the notions and sentiments in the lyrics. Â The sextet is easily playable by a developing sextet with musical expression taking centre stage. Â In the soprano sax part there is the opportunity to play divisi if more than one player is performing.

Saxophone Ensemble,Woodwind Ensemble Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1087835 Composed by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Arranged by Regis Bookshar. Classical,Contest,Festival,Instructional,Multicultural,Romantic Period,World. 26 pages. Regis Bookshar #692064. Published by Regis Bookshar (A0.1087835). Coronation March, TH 50, CW 47 by Peter Ilyich Tchaikovsky. Tenor Saxophone Octet - Advanced/Intermediate - Digital Download. This marvelous arrangement of Peter Tchaikovsky's Coronation March, sometimes called Festival March or Festival Coronation March, would be a fabulous addition to any music library and could be performed for concerts, recitals and other festive occasions. This arrangement keeps all of the intensity and excitement of the original composition and is suitable for high school and college students. Professional musicians would also enjoy playing this selection. Included are a score and a complete set of parts (26 pages). This selection is one of the many arrangements from The Regis Bookshar Trumpet Ensemble's extensive music library which are being made available to the public for the first time. The Coronation March was ordered by the city of Moscow for the coronation of Tsar Alexander III in 1883. It was written during March of 1883 and was performed for the first time on June 4, 1883 in Sokolniky Park in Moscow, conducted by Sergei Taneyev. The music then included excerpts of the anthem, God Save the Tsar. The American premiere was on May 5, 1891, for the opening concert of Carnegie Hall in New York City, conducted by Tchaikovsky himself. During the Soviet Era, Russian performances and recordings of the music were revised to omit the excerpts from the Czarist national anthem, replacing it with thematic material used earlier in the march, due to an official Soviet ban on the anthem. Starting with Dmitri Medvedev's inauguration in 2008, an abbreviated version of this piece is played during the Russian presidential inauguration accompanying the entrance of the incoming president, and ends well before the playing in this piece of the Tsarist anthem God Save the Tsar. Unlike Tchaikovsky's other major compositions, the Coronation March does not have an opus number. It has been given alternative catalogue designations TH 50 and CW 47. Tchaikovsky's Coronation March was originally scored for a full orchestra and written in the key of D Major. Regis Bookshar has now created an abbreviated version, written in Db Major, and has arranged it for a Tenor Saxophone Octet. In addition to this arrangement of Tchaikovsky's Coronation March for a Tenor Saxophone Octet, other arrangements of this festive composition for various instrumental ensembles are also available. Please feel free to search for other arrangements by Regis Bookshar as there are many more arrangements in a variety of styles, also available for purchase. You may find something else which might interest you as well, and please continue to check periodically because new arrangements are being added as often as possible. I'm certain that this wonderful arrangement of Tchaikovsky's Coronation March will continue to entertain both audiences and performers alike for years to come.

Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.924085 Composed by Dominic McGonigal. 21st Century,Classical,Contemporary. 52 pages. C8 Music #5990715. Published by C8 Music (A0.924085). Hall Of Mirrors has three short movements played without a break (although they could be played separately if desired). The opening fast movement has a minimalist feel with the recorders dancing around each other. The central slow movement is a beautiful long tune, arching over a pulsing accompaniment. The final movement is a fast fugue, full of energy, with stretto, augmentation and inversion. It ends with a short reference to the slow movement melody. It is best suited to professional or advanced amateur players, although it sounds harder than it actually is to play. It is scored for 8 recorders - 2 soprano, 2 alto, 2 tenor and 2 bass. 7'10 www.dominicmcgonigal.com.

Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.528137 Composed by Johann Strauss Jr. Arranged by Diego Marani. Classical,Holiday,Instructional,Romantic Period,Standards. 84 pages. Diego Marani #4808565. Published by Diego Marani (A0.528137). Wiener Blut ('Viennese Blood' or 'Viennese Spirit') Op. 354 is a waltz by Johann Strauss II first performed by the composer on 22 April 1873. The waltz was chiefly noted by Strauss' biographers as the début of Strauss with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. 'Wiener Blut' is one of a handful of late works by Strauss that were not composed for the stage; at this point in his career he was concentrating on writing for the performing stage, and not for the ballroom, and had written at least two operettas before penning this waltz, with Die Fledermaus still to come. This arrangement for sax choir includes the following parts: Eb Sopranino, Bb Soprano 1-2, Eb Alto 1-2-3, Bb Tenor 1-2-3, Eb Baritone 1-2, Bb Bass.

Arranged by Carl Raven. Contemporary. 17 pages. PopWind.co.uk #4321707. Published by PopWind.co.uk (A0.818713). Amar pelos dois (Portuguese pronunciation: [Éˈmaɾ ˈp(ɨ)luʃ ˈdojʃ]; English: Love for Both of Us) is a song performed by Portuguese singer Salvador Sobral and written and produced by his sister LuÃsa Sobral. It premiered on 19 February 2017, when it was performed in Festival da Canção 2017, Portugal's national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, and was released as a digital download on 10 March 2017 by Sons em Trânsito. Amar pelos dois is a jazz waltz with a lyrical theme of heartbreak after a breakup. Amar pelos dois received praise from music critics – some reviewers considered it Portugal's all-time best Eurovision entry. It earned the Sobral siblings two Marcel Bezençon Awards, and was included in the European Union Songbook as the all-time top Portuguese love song. The song topped the charts in Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. It peaked inside the top 10 in Belgium, Denmark, France, Luxembourg, Greece, Hungary, Norway, Sweden and Switzerland. For saxophone octet, SAAAATTB
