Published by William E. Moats (A0.919923). Musings Suite is a four movement original work for Brass Trio - Bb Trumpet, F Horn and Trombone. The total time of the four movements is eight minutes and fifty seconds at the indicated tempos. The audio clip on this web site is a composite of segments from each movement. These segments range from about 30 seconds to 1 minute. The piece is generally written in a modern or 20th century style that is not dependent on classic style harmonies. This piece is probably requires at least advanced high school players for successful performance. Parts are highly chromatic and ,although finale insertedkey signatures when instrument transpositions were made, there is really no key, only tonal centers. The piece is suitable for recital or concert settings. The download file contains a full score of each movement and parts for Trumpet, Horn and Trombone. Including the title page there are 42 pages total in the file. Each instrument will have seven pages of music and the rest is the score.

The Introduction of this suite is for two Cornets alone followed a full band restatement. The percussion parts include Timpani and Drum Set. There are also parts for Horns in Eb and F. Very suitable for a Wedding or a Graduation Ceremony or general performance… King William's March was composed in honor of William of Orange who had become King of England following the Glorious Revolution of 1688. Clarke's better known Prince of Denmark's March which follows, honored William's brother-in-law Prince George of Denmark. Trumpet Voluntary - The most celebrated trumpet voluntary is the Prince of Denmark's March, a composition by Jeremiah Clarke written circa. 1700. It is properly a rondo for keyboard and was not originally called a trumpet voluntary. It is very popular as wedding music and was played at the 1981 wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer. [Wikipedia] The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer 3. It’s galloping character made it perfectly suited for use in the Lone Ranger television series. This arrangement is for Intermediate Level performers and for use as instructional repertoire. The melody is shared between Part 1 and Part 2. It is scored for 3 Bassoons and/or Tenoroons, but is also suitable for a larger ensemble of bassoon/tenoroon players. In the case of a mixed ensemble of Bassoons and Tenoroons where there is more than one player per part, it is preferable to have at least one Bassoon on Part 3. The First Suite in Eâ™ for Military Band, Op. 28, No. 1, by the British composer Gustav Holst is considered one of the cornerstone masterworks in the concert band repertoire. Officially premiered in 1920 at the Royal Military School of Music, the manuscript was originally completed in 1909.
