Lever Harp - Level 5 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1513472 Composed by Traditional Irish Jig. Arranged by Cara Smuts, Carrie Tollett, and Kevin Smuts. Celtic,Irish,Traditional. Score. 9 pages. Learning the Harp #1088346. Published by Learning the Harp (A0.1513472). This arrangement of Butterfly Jig is fun, upbeat and sounds REALLY impressive on the harp! It’s a great performance piece to show off your technical skills and speed. This level is the most complex out of the two with a faster speed, impressive intros at the beginning, and more complexity between the hands.Difficulty Level and Skills Required: Advanced. This piece is fast with quite a bit of jumping between registers, quick dynamic changes, and tricky placing.Type of Harp: The big harp version is for 33 string harps and larger, but the small harp version works for 26 string harps and largerRange: For big harps: the lowest note is E one and a half octaves below middle C, and the highest note is D, just more than two octaves above middle C. Large Ensemble Cello,Double Bass,Harp,Oboe,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889419 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Concert,Contemporary. Score and parts. 36 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #3492515. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889419). For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry Eternal Bridge was made to be performed by a group of six soloists playing the following instruments: Oboe, Harp, Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass. It is not a difficult piece once learned. It is really a great fun for the players and very easy listening too, It covers a very wide range of audience demands. There is a groove feeling on it that makes it very pleasant to most all people. Because of its plasticity the piece allows many interpretations, therefore I did not made much use of interpretation symbols in order to leave to the performers the freedom of doing their own. Bowing and fingering are left totally virgin at the hands of the schools or the creativity of the performing Artists. P.S. - The score was written on Finale. The sound file For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry, was performed with samplers from Garritan and conceived as an audio support for the presentation of the score. This is the first time that this version is published in Sheet Music Plus. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file. I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music. Sheers! Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design, all the Love and inspiration. Special Thanks to Nina and Stray Queen Mimi for my Family, all their Love Patience and Compassion. Love Forever.„The litle story of the - „Eternal BridgeEternal Bridge came out of a dream. Imagine a little railway station, a train that comes and stops, and your friends go inside. As you step on the little stairs to go inside, the doors close letting you out, and the train starts rolling. It speeds up very fast and enough so you can`t jump out of the little stairs back to the ground, you are holding now to the iron bars around the doors of the train, you see your friends and the people inside but they can`t see you, they can`t hear you, and you notice that the train is now on a bridge so high, that you can`t see the earth any more. Wind is blowing around me and I feel this cosmic cold and everything starts to twist around in a gigantic spiral. I still feel the Gravity but it goes in all directions at the same time pushing me violently and I feared to fail the grip on the iron bars and fall down, in an imaginary endless abyss. Little by little the speed of the events slows down progressively until everything freezes. Now, The other side of the bridge does not exist at all, neither the beginning or up or down. The train disappeared in a glimpse and I noticed that I was not falling down, just hanging there out in hyperspace, Free from Gravity. I lost the fear of falling in the abyss, it felt kind a good, because the only thing that I could see was light, pure beautiful bright white light, I was floating in light, I realised I could stay there forever, but then I felt lonely and wanted to come back home. When I finally woke up, I wrote this words in Portuguese and made a song out of it. the words go like:Ponte eterna abismo sem fundo - Vento ciclónico medo profundo - Comboio gelado lentidão d`aço - Espiral eterna suspensa no espaço - Maos agarram a vida duas barras d` aço - Corpo sacudido em espasmos de medo - Alucinação divina acordar de um sonho Eternal Bridge endless Abyss - Cyclonic wind deep Fear - Frozen Train slowness of steel - Eternal spiral suspended in space - Hands cling to life on two bars of steel - Body shaken into spasms of fear - Divine hallucination waking up from a dream

Large Ensemble Clarinet,Flute,Harp,Horn,Multi-Percussion,Timpani,Viola,Violin - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.889417 Composed by Luis Anjos Teixeira. Concert,Contemporary,Standards. Score and parts. 32 pages. Luis Anjos Teixeira #3490179. Published by Luis Anjos Teixeira (A0.889417). for the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry,Moon Over The Rising Sun was written very early in the morning while the night fades away giving birth to a sun rise. Conceived for a mixed ensemble of nine to 10 performers. 2 Flutes, Clarinet, Horn, guitar, Harp, Violin, Viola, 1 Timpanist, 1 or 2 Percussionists. The piece has an intime atmosphere very common in chamber music. Very easy to perform and very flexible, it is ideal for schools or when various kinds of mixed ensembles are taking place. With very few effort from the players, it has a large effect on the audience. As I said the piece is very flexible, for exemple the shakuhachi flute can be replaced by a soprano recorder or any other kind of flute with a similar register. A piano could eventually replace the harp. Due to a certain Tutti caracter on the string section, more violins, violas and cellos would easily join the group. One Cello or Double Bass „Pizzicato could reenforce the left hand on the harp part. Other wise and when possible, it should be performed as written. I also have added some interpretation symbols like fortes and pianos but only as a personal suggestion for an interpretation. Of course the artists must decide how they prefer to perform the piece and should have the last word on their performances. The score was written on Finale. The sound file For the 2018 Chamber Music Contest Entry, was performed with samplers from Garritan and conceived as an audio support for the presentation of the score. This is the first time that this version is published in Sheet Music Plus or anywhere else! This piece was inspired by some aspects of western, eastern, African and american cultures. The list of inspiring human phenomena and achievement within art and music never find an end. There is so much to learn! For now let the World play music. Music is the ultimate Universal language. Imagine we all playing music with each other. The World full of music schools and instruments instead of military camps and weapons. Millions of beautiful people with music instruments in their hands playing music with each other all around the World. Our war lords would start opening music shops for a change. And we would live much happier!!! Music Can Save The World Thanks to Claudia Eppelt for the cover design, all the Love and inspiration. Special Thanks to Nina and Stray Queen Mimi for my Family, all their Love Patience and Compassion. True Love Forever. Thank you very much for taking your time to read this text and to listen to the file.I hope you have a lot of fun and enjoy the music.Love ForeverSheers! Luis Anjos Teixeira

Large Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Handchime,Orff Instrument,Xylophone - Level 2 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565975 By Sharon Wilson. By James M. Black. Arranged by Sharon Wilson Music. Children,Praise & Worship,Romantic Period,Sacred,Traditional. Score and parts. 38 pages. Sharon Wilson #6612669. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565975). NOTE: This song has many eighth notes and may take beginners longer to learn and master. Those with a little music experience will probably have an easier time learning this arrangement and have a lot of fun with the quick tempo. For beginning musicians or for introducing new players to Handbells and Boomwhackers®, I recommend starting with an easy song which uses only quarter notes and rests in the score such as God Is So Good for 8-note Bells and Boomwhackers®. This sheet music is notated for 13-note (one octave, C to C chromatic scale) instruments with Handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate score for each instrument. A note and chord reference chart is also provided. To aid in the learning and teaching of this song or for use with other instruments (such as a Ukulele), chord names are included on the Boomwhackers® staff and score. Lyrics are provided on the grand staff for sing along enjoyment or when using this arrangement as the accompaniment for a unison choir. In addition, a complete set of scores for 4 ringers and 4 whackers is provided. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 8 performers with 1 to 3 notes assigned to each player. For each ringer and whacker, the 1-staff score shows only the notes they are assigned. This alternate score format may be easier to sight-read since the only notes on the staff are the assigned notes allowing the player to focus on rhythm. This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. Only filled noteheads are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. All sharps and flats are displayed as well (shown in the key of C); a helpful reminder for beginning musicians. Note assignment suggestions are provided. Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers® * form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® * use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groupsPermission is granted to make as many copies as needed for one family, church, school, or other performing group. Please purchase additional copies for multiple groups or organizations. Boomwhackers® is a registered trademark of Rhythm Band Instruments LLC. Instrumental Duet - Level 4 - Digital Download SKU: A0.1244850 By George Edward Brandon. By George Edward Brandon. Arranged by George Edward Brandon. 21st Century,Holiday. 3 pages. Blue Unity Music #839773. Published by Blue Unity Music (A0.1244850). This piece is a short and sprightly celebration of the anniversary of the date on which the last enslaved African Americans learned that the War between the States had concluded, slavery had been abolished and they had become free people. This was in Galveston, Texas on June 17, 1865. Another version of this piece, called Juneteenth Call for GR, exists for flute and clarinet, and there is also a third but slightly different version of it for saxophone quartet. A video of the flute and harp version was recorded by Castle of Our Skin and appears on their youtube channel as the Black Composer Challenge #2.

Small Ensemble Bells,Boomwhackers,Glockenspiel,Handbell,Multi-Percussion,Orff Instrument,Recorder,Ukulele,Voice,Xylophone - Level 3 - Digital Download SKU: A0.565149 By Sharon Wilson. By Spiritual. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Folk,Instructional,Sacred,Spiritual. Score and parts. 9 pages. Sharon Wilson #3497141. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.565149). This sheet music is notated for handbells on one staff and Boomwhackers® on a second staff creating an instrumental ensemble (requires one set of each instrument). Handbells play the melody while the Boomwhackers® keep a steady beat with three-note chords. Included in this set of scores is a combined score with both instrument parts on a grand staff plus a separate 1-staff score for each instrument. This set of scores uses colored noteheads corresponding to the Boomwhackers® color scheme. Handbells sold by Rhythm Band or KidsPlay also use this same color scheme (other brands may use different color schemes). Using color coded notes helps beginning musicians learn to read standard sheet music notation. This set of scores is also available (separate purchase) in black and white which will print clearer if you do not have access to a color printer.Notes used for each instrument are as follows: Bells – D E G A B C* where C* is high C, one octave above middle C  Boomwhackers® – C D E G A B C*Though this sheet music is notated for Handbells and Boomwhackers®, this arrangement is playable by any 8-note, C major diatonic scale (one octave) instrument such as a xylophone or glockenspiel.Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. Lyrics and chord names are provided as well to aid in the learning and teaching of this song. The staves are shown without sharps or flats for simplicity since even though this song is actually written in the key of G major, no sharps or flats are used. The number of ringers and whackers needed will vary depending on the skill level of the participants. For more advanced players, each person could be assigned two notes. For beginners, it is best to assign one note to each person. Instrument assignment suggestions are provided on the last page for 7 or 13 players.Other suggestions and uses: * have both parts played by bells or both parts played using only Boomwhackers®* form a choir using multiple sets of bells and/or Boomwhackers® (this would amplify the sound and allow more people to participate)* use as part of the music education for children at school, home, or church* these colorful, inexpensive instruments can be enjoyed by all ages and add a fun, unique element to activities and programs: senior centers, family reunions, church retreats, home school groups, just to name a few Permission is granted to make up to 10 copies of each score. For more than 10 copies, please purchase additional sets.TThis arrangement is one of the 10 songs included in the collection Ten Traditional Spirituals for 8-Note Bells and Boomwhackers®.Boomwhackers® is a registered trademark of Rhythm Band Instruments, LLC. Arranged by Sharon Wilson. Children,Christmas,Contemporary,Country,Rock. Score and parts. 41 pages. Sharon Wilson #6614265. Published by Sharon Wilson (A0.569887). NOTE: Beginning musicians (or those new to Handbells and Boomwhackers® ensemble playing) may find the Boomwhackers® part easier since it only contains quarter notes and rests without the syncopation of the Handbells. Though there are multiple combinations for the number of ringers and whackers needed for any given performance, this extra set of scores is specifically designed for 8 performers. Only filled noteheads (quarter and eighth notes) are used so the notes are full color and easier to see (this does not indicate the bells need to be silenced immediately before the next beat). Also, only quarter and eighth rests are used to help visualize the number of beats per measure. Instructional. Score and parts. 129 pages. Dots and Beams #5313621. Published by Dots and Beams (A0.931838). This book provides its user with a series of notes on a bass staff with no rhythm values and no meter. Chapters are organized by the placement of the notes relative to the staff; on the staff, above the staff, below the staff, on and above the staff, and on and below the staff. For each pitch range there is one chapter with no accidentals and one chapter with accidentals. All exercises have a space at the beginning of each staff to write in a key signature, allowing each exercise to be read in all keys and used in many ways. The aim with this book is to allow the user to focus specifically on exercises centred around pitch without the distraction of rhythmic values or time signatures. This can begin with the practice of sight-reading but can expand to include many other learning goals. The diatonic sets contain notes with no accidentals or key signature. These collections can be read as written, using only natural notes, or in any of the 15 key signatures from 7 flats to 7 sharps. Chromatic collections include sharp and flat notes as well as natural ones. The later exercises in these chapters increase the difficulty by including B#, Cb, E#, and Fb. Ledger line chapters start with the first ledger line and gradually expand away from the staff. Exercises above and below the staff extend to the space just beyond the fourth ledger line. The random nature of the notes in these exercises is intentional; it forces the user to pay attention to each note and makes the exercises very difficult to memorize, ensuring that they will still present a challenge even after multiple readings. It’s important when sight-reading to cycle through the exercises quickly rather than dwelling on a single exercise for a long time. This will ensure that you’re strengthening your ability to read the notes rather than just memorizing the exercises. Some suggestions for how to use this book include: Gain comfort reading the notes and finding them on your instrument in no particular rhythm or tempo. A greater challenge can be achieved by playing them at a steady tempo or by playing them in a simple rhythmic pattern. Beginner students can begin by writing in the note names. Play each exercise in all 15 key signatures. Advanced theory students and improvising musicians can also use these exercises to practice identifying scale degrees in various keys or playing chords built on every scale degree in the chosen key. Develop comfort with chords by playing a chord built on each note in the exercise. For example: for each note in the exercise, play the major chord with that root. Increase the difficulty with different chord qualities or different chord tones, for example: for every note, play the minor 7th chord in which the given note is the 3rd. Practice transposing into different keys. This is an especially useful challenge for people who play transposing instruments such as brass and woodwind instruments. Chapters with wide ranges can present a great exercise for musicians who play instruments where large leaps are a challenge. People who play strings, mallet percussion, piano, woodwinds, and brass would be among those who would benefit from practising these awkward leaps and falls. As with any of the Dots and Beams books, the uses for this particular collection are limited only by the imagination of the musician using it. I highly encourage anybody using this book to find as many uses for it as possible. My hope is that as you grow as a musician you will find ever more creative and challenging ways to use these materials so that you can return to these books for years and still find a valuable way to use them.

Instructional. Score and parts. 124 pages. Dots and Beams #4269045. Published by Dots and Beams (A0.931832). Dots and Beams creates a wide variety of reading materials for musicians at all skill levels and for all instruments. The goal of Dots and Beams is to break music down into its elements and provide reading material focused on systematically developing each element in isolation. These books can be used in any number of ways and are an invaluable tool for creative musicians who enjoy inventing new exercises. In addition, these books make excellent, thoughtfully graduated sight-reading material for a wide range of ability levels from student to professional. This collection presents its user with a series of notes on a treble staff in the context of increasingly complex rhythmic material. The pitch material in this book is entirely diatonic with a space left at the beginning of each system in which one can write a key signature. Early chapters use only notes on the staff while subsequent chapters begin to add notes on ledger lines above and below the staff. Each chapter contains two exercises in each of the following time signatures: 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 6/8, 9/8, and 12/8. This gives exercises in 2, 3, and 4 beats per bar in both simple and compound meters. From chapter to chapter the conceptual difficulty of the rhythmic material increases. The exercises in this collection are intentionally aimless, wandering, and difficult to internalize. They resemble standard melodies on the surface but don’t emphasize any particular tonal centre or harmonic movement. They are designed this way for several reasons. In keeping the melodic material as non-specific as possible the door is left open for the materials to be used in conjunction with any number of exercises, something that would be much more difficult with a composition that dictates the harmonic, melodic, and rhythmic phrasing. It also allows the user to read the exercises in any key signature, making this a great tool to help students learn to think in different keys. The unpredictability of these exercises also forces the user to process every note and rhythm as its own event without relying on pattern recognition or melodic and harmonic tendencies to help in figuring out the notes and rhythms. While I absolutely agree that the skill of predicting music’s direction from harmonic and melodic cues is an essential skill for any musician to develop, I think we will all agree that resources for this type of reading practice are already abundant. This collection, on the other hand, is designed to develop the user’s ability to process raw musical data. Once this skill is strengthened and internalized it is my belief that the act of reading more predictable and typically melodic music will be made much easier as the processing of notes and rhythms will be second nature, allowing the musician to focus on musicality. This book is a supplement to practising sight-reading using real music, not a replacement; I encourage you to use both. If this material is being used to practice sight-reading, it is encouraged to cycle through the exercises quickly rather than dwelling on a particular exercise for a long period of time. The goal in practising sight-reading is not to learn the material but to develop the skill of reading new material. Some suggestions for how to use this book include: Read each exercise in all 15 key signatures from 7 flats to 7 sharps. Practice key changes by writing in a different key signature for each system. Increase the challenge of the previous exercise by using a metronome on weak beats. For example, instead of putting the metronome click on each quarter-note in 4/4, play the exercise with the metronome giving the second eighth note of each beat, or the last sixteenth note, or beats 2 and 4. Be creative with this one, the possib.

Large Ensemble Baritone Saxophone,Bass Guitar,Bassoon,Cello,Double Bass,Euphonium,Harpsichord,Horn,Marimba,Organ,Piano,Trombone,Tuba - Digital Download SKU: A0.931833 Composed by Nathan Petitpas - Dots and Beams. Instructional. Score and parts. 124 pages. Dots and Beams #4269061. Published by Dots and Beams (A0.931833). This collection presents its user with a series of notes on a bass staff in the context of increasingly complex rhythmic material. For example, instead of putting the metronome click on each quarter-note in 4/4, play the exercise with the metronome giving the second e.
