The Beach Boy’s beautiful classic ‘In My Room’ is a great tune to add to your solo guitar repertoire, and this arrangement is perfect for the burgeoning chord melody player. The melody fits really nicely within fairly standard chord shapes, and the few challenges that do arise can be overcome by extending our knowledge of the fretboard through the use of triad inversions and some open arpeggios for added color (a short lesson on these concepts is included with the arrangement).
