This is the solo arrangement of Be Our Guest created by Brad Powell for his performances in Disney's Princess Breakfast Adventure at the Disneyland Resort's Grand Californian hotel (Napa Rose restaurant), from 2019 to early 2024. It's an intermediate-to-advanced solo arrangement, mixing jazz and classical techniques and chord voicings. You can hear the full arrangement performed in the YouTube link provided. NOTE: This arrangement is in standard notation with TAB. It is also available as standard notation (without TAB).ABOUT: Brad Powell (aka The Candlelight Guitarist) began guitar at age ten, inspired by The Beatles. At 15, he became a protégé of jazz guitarist Joe Pass, and later studied classical guitar under Vincent Macaluso, and at California State University, Northridge under Ronald Purcell, with a master class under Andrés Segovia. Brad was featured performing Gerald Wilson's Sonata for Guitar and Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl, with the composer conducting. Brad was mentored in composition by David Rose (composer for Little House on the Prairie). Brad has composed music for TV, including Hill Street Blues and The 'A' Team, working with Mike Post. Brad has ten albums as The Candlelight Guitarist. When not making music, Brad is often out hiking with his four dogs. Published by Antony Cull (A0.896161). This is an accurate transcription of Eric Clapton's 'Tears In Heaven' as performed on the 'MTV Unplugged' album (1992). This transcription includes both Eric Clapton's rhythm part and Andy Fairweather Low's lead part. Both guitar parts utilise a claw hammer finger style with thumb playing the bass notes of each chords and the first and middle fingers the chord. This piece is a good choice to develop basic fingerstyle technique as well as increasing a players fingerstyle attack. If you listen to original recording you will notice both players are using classical nylon strung guitars but the track works equally well on steel strung acoustic.If you are looking for a track to wow friends and family this iconic track is worth the time spent learning and is a great track for vocalists and guitar duos.

She has changed the world with her studies, and continues to do so with environmental and educational activism.  Brad Powell met Dr. Goodall in the early 1990s, and has composed this piece in her honor.  It is a relaxing waltz style, using intermediate-level classical guitar technique, with both folk and modern jazz guitar chord voicings. This arrangement involved careful editing of essential elements of the Cello Suite Prelude (not the entire piece), tuning the guitar's 5th and 6th strings down a whole step, and adjusting harmonies of the Cello Suite to match Happy Birthday, still retaining Bach's compositional style.  It's an intermediate level classical fingerstyle, similar in difficulty to the Sor Etudes. It was originally released by White on his 1969 album, Continued, on Monument Records, shortly before Benton's hit single was issued. Benton recorded the song in November 1969 with arranger/producer Arif Mardin at Criteria Studios in Miami, Florida. Benton had signed to a new record label, Cotillion Records (a subsidiary of Atlantic Records), by label A&R chief and producer Jerry Wexler. The RIAA certified the single gold for sales of one million copies.
